“Crocoite (orange) with Phoenicochroite (red) from the Black Butte claim. 3.5mm field of view. Confirmed by Raman spectroscopy, July 2013. This specimen was labeled "Lead Minerals" in the collection of Arthur Flagg, who originally reported the Crocoite from this locality in 1948. It is the only crystalline Crocoite I've seen from Arizona. Also in association on the specimen is vanadinite, mimetite, and descloizite. ”
