Empathy?

People like me on the right believe in individual charities cuz most of us work and contribute to them. We know it works because we're involved. If you aren't like most lefties (like those in the article) then you think the gov't should do it. I get their premise I just don't believe in it.

That is cruelty at a level I would not have thought possible. :(
