C-130 8-Blade Props in 1/200 Scale

Our first release for 2026 is a return to one of our favorite subjects, the NP2000 8-blade propellers. This time for the Hasegawa 1/200 C-130 Hercules. There isn’t much to say about this release. If you’ve used our 8-blade props in other scales these are essentially the exact same product but scaled down to fit the Hasegawa kits.

Phone Booth

Last year was slow from a development standpoint and we only managed to complete one kit. It was a bit more complicated than we normally attempt but we had a request and gave it our best shot.

Built and un-painted, no windows
3D render

This is our 1/25 scale phone booth. It’s a mixed media kit that includes 3D printed parts as well as clear sheets cut for the windows. It’s rather fiddly and a bit tricky to assemble but it can build into a nice piece if you have patience and take your time. The door is in 2 sections so you can position it open or closed. The letters at the top are recessed with the thought this may help if you want to paint them a separate color.

Probably not a good kit for a beginner but could really help bring a diorama to life for an experienced builder!

MiG Under Maintenance

The MiG-15 Maintenance set is one of our most detailed sets to date and a perfect match for the well designed MiG-15 kits by Eduard. While we weren’t able to find many period photos of MiGs being maintained during design and development, we believe we came away with something very representative of the real thing.

Seen below is our prototype build that was completed in early 2023. The base is 3D printed and some static grass is applied, but we didn’t spend a lot of time or effort on that as the airplane and engines were what we wanted to focus on. Our efforts paid off and the piece has now won a variety of awards at IPMS shows, including a silver medal at PennCon in 2023, a 1st place medal at the 2024 Model Classic in Fairfax, a 3rd place at the Roanoke Virginia Shootout in 2024, and a 2nd place as part of a Triathlon entry at the 2025 Model Classic.

The Eduard kits are becoming harder and harder to find these days, but we have our fingers crossed that they might re-release them again in the future. If you manage to pick one up our sets will be waiting.

ALSO! If you’ve already purchased a set from us and want to share some photos of your build, we’d love to display them on the product page for others to see. Simply email them to us at ckmodkits@gmail.com and we’ll do the rest.
