“Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.” — Søren Kierkegaard
Welcome to Clanmother
This space was created as a place of reflection—where the present is held alongside the past, and where the experiences of those who came before us are not forgotten.
Across these pages, I look back, not to escape the present, but to better understand it. Through memory, history, and lived experience, we begin to see that the world has always carried its own forms of complexity. We are not the first to face uncertainty. We are not the first to wonder how to move forward. What we have, perhaps, is something different.
We live in a time of extraordinary access – to knowledge, to stories, to one another. The tools in our hands offer us a wider view than many in the past could have imagined. And yet, even with all that surrounds us, the essential questions remain unchanged. How do we live well? How do we endure? How do we find meaning in the midst of it all? Here, we take time to consider these questions gently.
We pause. We remember. We reflect. Not to arrive at final answers, but to recognize that we are part of a much longer human story. A story that continues, quietly, through each of us. You are always welcome here.
