Prayer Promises – Jesus Wants Our Joy Made Full

And the Disciples said “What does this mean, ‘a little while?’ We don’t understand what you are saying…..
Jesus saw that they wanted to ask him about this, so he said to them, “Are you asking one another what I meant when I said, ‘In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me’? Very truly I tell you, YOU WILL WEEP AN MOURN WHILE THE WORLD REJOICES. You will grieve, BUT YOUR GRIEF WILL TURN INTO JOY. A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world. So with you: Now is your time of grief, BUT I WILL SEE YOU AGAIN AND YOU WILL REJOICE, AND NO ONE WILL TAKE AWAY YOUR JOY. In that day you will no longer have to ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, My FATHER WILL GIVE YOU WHATEVER YOU ASK IN MY NAME. Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. ASK AND YOU WILL RECEIVE, AND YOUR JOY WILL BE MADE COMPLETE.  John 16: 19-23
Remember Jesus said, he did not speak his own words, but every word he spoke was from the Father. Because that is true that means the words spoken in above verse are established. It means it is so for you if you believe!  The Word of God is forever settled in heaven.
How compassionate a Savior we serve that he would gently comfort us with an understanding answer.  Our JOY is important to him, but with all the hustle and bustle, and cares of this world, we are led to believe that JOY is simply an afterthought, not a priority. But according to the verse of scripture above, our joy is important to Jesus Christ.
Just like Jesus always took time to explain to the disciples when they had questions, he has left us the comforter who reveals all truth, the Holy Spirit, and in that same order when we ask the Holy Spirit, he takes time to explain to us in our spirit that which we have asked.
