EB Awareness Event --- Extended to May 12th

Good news! The Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) Event will be extended to May 12th!  It was suggested by the designers to extend the event since so many people were unable to log into SL, or teleport, the past several days.  After May 5th, we will be continuing the event at another location; therefore, please keep your eye on this blog for the new landmark.  Until May 5th, you may use the links to the current location!

Also, to update you, the event has raised over L$107,000 for Debra of America as of Friday morning!  Thank you so much for your generosity, and please continue telling your friends about the event!

EB Awareness Event -- Direct Slurls to Businesses

We are thrilled to report, as of a few hours ago, the EB Awareness Event has raised over L$81,000!!  Thank you so much for your support!  Please, keep telling your friends about the event and the activities taking place until May 5th!

While you are at the event, be sure to watch the video and pick up the information at the landing area.  Also, take time to roam the shops, visit the butterfly cave, take a stroll behind the booths to see the beautiful rest areas provided for you.

EB Awareness Event in Second Life

Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) — The Worst Disease You've Never Heard Of.™

Until my friend Cerise Emor told me about her volunteer work in RL for Debra of Ameria, I had never heard of Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).   After hearing about the children and families she has met, I visited the Debra of America website to learn more.  When I read the stories, and saw the photos of the children whose skin was as delicate as the wings of a butterfly, I knew I had to do something to help raise awareness.

We decided we wanted to do something quickly, and so we began reaching out to creators, entertainers, and friends to help us plan an event to raise awareness and funds for Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).

The following people and businesses have generously offered to assist us in this event.  Please attend the event and bring your friends to the concerts, shopping area, and make sure to take photos at the beautifully landscaped location!
