For the first time in a while, I've actually more or less completed a scene. A magazine article featuring my layout was all the inspriation I needed to get going :)

Today I stumbled across this picture while "tidying" a bit on my computer. The picture is taken at the 2010 Fremo meet in Zuidbroek, NL. You can barely make out the Grimstad turntable at the back of the little Skd220c locomotive. Further back is another Fremo-module. I think this makes for a cool and unusual background.

A danish reefer

This rather nice danish refrigerated wagon turned up at Grimstad at it's last internation outing (Zuidbroek, Netherlands in 2010). It's always exciting to see different types of cars turning up when I attend international FREMO-meetings with Grimstad.

Just a couple of pictures

This freight car with wood load has been a small fun project for me for a couple of nights. The car is a plastic model of the norwegian type N2. The wood load is from Duha and the chain is from Weinert. The load is of course easily removable in one piece so it can be removed when needed during operation. The car has been weathered with artist chalks and then sprayed with a coat of Tamiya flat clear.

 GFB no.2 picks up the N2 from the harbour spur in Grimstad.

It's important to check that the load is securely fastened!

I managed to take this picture of a NSB Skd214 while it was busy doing some swithcing in Grimstad. Normally all the freight trains and switching is taken care of by GFB, so what this norwegian state railway engine is doing down here I haven't been able to find out.
