At last! Welcome to the Build A Line Challenge big reveal of my new line of jewelry Simply Floral along with 54 creative artists. This was a wonderful journey learning so many things about making a line of jewelry and all that goes with that process. It was a lot of work and that work is not done! Designing what is to be made, getting all the quality supplies so that you have enough to cover multiple designs, making the components in some cases, pricing your finished products and then marketing them. Going for that cohesive design for a collection of jewelry!

My designs for my line of Simply Floral was inspired by my love of flowers made with polymer clay, combing with my love of brass leaves and components. I added beads, chain and all the needed small bits and pieces that are needed to complete the designs. The brass along with a lot of the bits and pieces were purchased at B'sue Boutiques http://www.bsueboutiques.com . I handmade all of the flowers including leaves with polymer clay which took many hours to make what was to be used in the designs.

The Build a Line Challenge brought out many important factors for creating a line or collection of jewelry. One was the Pyramid of price points. While I have not completed my price points yet I have the tools to start with. My line will have a bottom/least expensive tier like the earrings. The middle tier would include a range for the small necklaces and bracelets. The upper tier would be the statement pieces which not only be larger but have more components included in the design.

Bracelets were the next item to go along with some of the necklace designs. I came ups with a few different designs that I think goes really well. One has a polymer base bangle and the others using a brass base, leaves & chain.

Lastly in the line were larger pieces, more of a statement necklace. I wanted to offer more choices to my buyers whether they like the smaller more delicate necklaces or the larger wow statement pieces of art.

This is not the end of my Simply Floral line. I hope to expand to some larger polymer clay focal florals for additional Summer designs. That leads into Fall then Winter designs to complete the year of beautiful jewelry.
