Time, Time, Where did it go?

Sitting down in my leather brown couch, I realized that time goes by so  fast literally. I realized in order to get anything accomplished, I need to be to learn how to manage my time and  take opportunity of every second, minute, and hour I have, before I don’t have many.

I don’t know about you, but time management is the number one skill that I totally fail  at. Having time management is a very essential  skill, and if you lack that skill, my friend, you will cause yourself, lots amount of stress and chaos. I know I did. Back when school was in progress, I never had time to accomplish my homework and complete chores. I was always stressed out because I couldn’t accomplish anything and I felt like a total failure.

Down below, I’ve summarize  some tips that will boost your time management skills!

  1. Just do it

Follow the Nike Logo and just do it. We tend to hold off  things last minute. Procrastination is the number one killer of time management. Complete task as early as possible, until it is too hard to do it later. The earlier the better. At the end, you will receive a great reward.

2. Turn off social media, email, text and phone notification

Technology and social media is a drug in this society. Once you start getting attached, you can’t let go. Due to that, you spent time doing unnecessary things and pushed all your important tasks at the end. Do yourself your favor, and become technology free. Concentrate on important things.

3. Become Motivated

Don’t pout while completing your task. Try to reward yourself after your complete your task. Stay positive while completing your task and put in your best effort. You don’t need to rush. If you rush, you will make twice as much mistakes.

4. Break Down complex tasks

Let’s say you have a 10 page essay  due in two weeks. You waited until the night before the due date to complete your paper. DON’T DO THAT!!!!! You just making the task more complex that it already is. Break the task into pieces. You can start gathering information during the first week. Then, after that you can start writing a page per night. Due to that, your paper will be well-done and you will be praised by your teacher and receive an awesome grade.

5.  Pay attention to the time

Time goes by like a lighting speed. Take advantage of  the amount of time you have and use it wisely before its too late. Do not waste your time on social media and other distractions. You have about 24 hours, 1,600 minutes, and 72,000 seconds in day. You can get a lot done.

Teens and Self-Confidence

As a teenager, It is very important to have self-confidence. It can be very hard because we are often influence by our peers and other external influences. Everywhere we walk, there’s an epitome of what is like to be a beautiful woman. There’s usual a picture of woman with voluptuous body, thin and fit body with an alluring smile. Little do we know, being a beautiful woman is not wearing designer brand clothes, “on-fleek” makeup everyday, or having a nice body. Being a beautiful woman is your attitude towards others and your unique personality. Today, I will give you five tips that will boost up your self-confidence.

First,

Say positive things about yourself

Every morning look at your self in the mirror and smile. Say three positive adjectives about ourselves. if you follow these rituals every single day. You self-confidence will boost up and your will have positive energy throughout the whole day.

Second,

Do not be greatly influenced by your friends

Friends are great and it is very important to have friends in our lives. During teenage years, friends can greatly influence us. Sometimes we are pressured to change our attitudes and personalities based your friends. If you ever in this situation, remember that you are a very unique person and none of your friends can be like you. If you have good friends, then you should not be pressured to change who you are. Having a great friendships is accepting each other flaws and positive qualities.

Third,
Set goals

One of the major things on having low self-confidence is failures. In life, you will fall hard and there would be a great scar. It is important that you bandaged that scar and go on with your life. When you set your goals and have a plan of how those goals will be accomplished you will have a higher chance of success.

Fourth,
Smile, Laugh, Enjoy yourself

Overall, life is hard, but also great. So cherish the good times and survive throughout the bad times.
