Taking a break. Oneshots on the horizon.
My fingers are trembling as I type this, and my nerves are pretty much shot. I’m hoping I’m not about to become a pitchfork pincushion, though I wouldn’t blame anyone for it.
After a lot of late night conversations and debate with Gallathea and a few of those closest to me, I’ve come to the very difficult decision to pull Carnival of Rust in its current form. Hey, guys. The Carnival out-take is done and off with Gallathea for beta’ing. It may not be up until tomorrow, since *gasp* Galla has an actual life and sometimes can’t rush to fix my shit. Hee hee. She’s an absolute Goddess and I don’t tell her nearly enough how much I appreciate her. My crap would be just that – crap – without her magic touch.
I’m also proud to display the winner for the banner contest I held. This blinkie by Missie is worthy of many brownies and much praise! Thank you, Missie! I’ll be doing a one-shot of her choice as soon as we hammer out the details.

I’ve recommended a few fics here and there in the past, mostly to friends in passing. I tweeted a rec once, as well. However, I’ve never felt compelled to do something as formal as recommending a fic through my blog or on a forum.
