Madison

Madison made some double chocolate cookies for us, all by herself!  They were pretty tasty and pretty rich!  She did a really good job of making and baking them, and a decent job of cleaning up.

The kids, myself and some friends of ours went to the opening basketball game of the season, for the high school here in Vernal.  Which reminds me, we need to go to one again soon.  It was a lot of fun, too bad the music was extremely loud.  I had to cover Ashton's ears, and I had a little bit of ringing in my ears afterwards.  Unnecessary if you ask me!  The Jazz bear and a few of the Jazz dancers were there.  It was a very interesting night with the Jazz bear and all of his antics!

Visits

On October 20th, the kids and I went to Vernal Memorial Park, where my Grand dad and Grandmother Litton are buried.  Grand dad's birthday is on Oct. 19th, we went on the 20th and put flowers on his grave.  I took this photo of the kids following a cat down the path.  It's such a pretty picture.  The kids and I enjoy the spiritual feeling we have there and paying our respects to our family and others.  Some of the graves are quite old.  Some of them are so small and almost covered in grass.  I try to clean those ones up a bit.  I need to remember to bring cleaning tools with me next time.

Midway Utah

Here's Jeff looking gorgeous as usual!  He and I stayed in Midway in Oct.  I love Midway, it's so beautiful there!  We ate dinner at Tarahumara.  The food was good.  We ate outdoors which was really nice too.  I toyed with the idea of going on a haunted hayride, but we didn't end up going.

There's an old apple orchard we like to go to there.  Unfortunately we were there later this year, so we didn't get to see and smell the sweet apples.  The name of the orchard is Huber Grove.  I love reading the history there and walking in the same places that the Huber's did.

California Trip (finally!)

We finally made it back to California, Jeff's home state.  I think it's been 4 or 5 years since we were last there, which was for Jeff's grandma's funeral.

We drove by Pepperdine University in Malibu when we went to the beach.  Madison and Bailee were quite excited because Zoey 101 was filmed there from 2005-2008.  They love to watch the re-runs of it on Nickelodeon.

Apparently we were there during high tide, it was totally freaking me out.  The ocean is so beautiful and amazing, but it scares the heck out of me too.

We went to Disney Land for 2 days.  It was a lot of fun, but exhausting too.

This was one of the first attractions we walked through, I don't even remember what it was, Tarzan maybe...  

We went to the Haunted Mansion next, we got right onto the ride, it was a lot of fun!! 

We did awesome the first day getting to ride lots of rides.  We didn't have to wait long at all on the rides the first day.  We used the Fast Passes twice which helped a ton with getting onto Splash Mountain and Space Mountain quickly.

Eating lunch at the Bear Country Cafe.  It was pretty tasty and had nice views.

We got to visit Jeff's cousin Branden in the Vans shirt.  We had a good time visiting other relatives and friends as well.  Jeff's has those photos also.

Back to School

I'm late getting these posted, but what's new?!!  Here's my big girl Madison, 12 years old and in the 7th grade this year.

She is growing up so fast and is a beautiful girl inside and out.  We have fun together.

Bailee is 7 years old now and in second grade.  She is awesome!!

I sure do love all of my cuties!!  

Happy Birthday Bailee!

Our sweet Bailee turned 7 on July 26th.  She and Ashton dove into opening the presents before noon.  I decided I might as well let Bailee open her presents early in the day rather than later.  Jeff was working, so I was able to call all the shots. ;-)  We missed him being there to celebrate with us.

Bailee got a new, pretty in pink scooter.  It's perfect for her.

Bailee is in the 2nd grade this year at Naples Elementary.  Her teacher is Mrs. Pederson.  Bailee likes her teacher, so far, and hopefully she will all year.  Bailee has very soft skin and very soft and smooth hair.  She's received compliments on how soft her hair is.  I love to kiss her soft cheeks!  Bailee likes playing video games on the Wii, tablet and our computer.  She likes coloring, playing Barbies and baby dolls, and lately she and Madison have really been enjoying building things with Lego's.  She also likes to look at floor plans of homes.  Sometimes she and Jeff will do look at them together.  She gets excited when she's looking online and finds floor plans that have large closets and rooms.  She often calls us over to excitedly show us.  She has a super sweet giggle.  I love that she still likes to cuddle and has since she was little.  I love my spirited little girl, she is so amazing!

It's cute and amusing watching her try to blow out her candles, she has the hardest time.  Usually one of her siblings can't help themselves, and comes to the rescue, to Bailee's dismay.

Madison eventually blew them out in one puff and got yelled at by Bailee for it. :-)
