Every summer I go visit my parents on Bailey Island, Maine driving over the Cribstone bridge over and over. I loved seeing the crazy narrow super cool bridge in a small town in Maine in "The Life of Captain Marvel". After reading over the comic I can't help but see a resemblance to "The Giant Staircase" on the first page and the last, is that the Giant Staircase? Also will you be in Phoenix anytime soon? Ha amazing, that is very cool! I was the lead designer, and actually just had dinner with Laird, the guy who hired me for that gig! I speak more at comicons and book events than game industry events but I always talk about games one way or another -- in fact I just lectured at USC game school and have been thinking how fun it was. Hi, I wanted to write to thank Margaret Stohl for some of the themes in her book "Cats vs. Robots", which my ten year old daughter recently read. My kid was excited to see a nonbinary character in a book, and she liked several of the comments made about the constructedness of gender so much that she copied them out and posted them on our wall! I am trans, and it's hard to find YA books that represent non-cis people or talk about gender as socially constructed. Thanks for making my kid happy!
