What actually happens to your face when you use face authentication? SAFR's Face Authentication 101 video breaks down how the technology works and how privacy can be built in from the start. From encrypted, non-reversible biometric data to giving users more control over how their data is used, see what privacy-first face authentication looks like with SAFR SCAN. https://lnkd.in/gwG73suv #FaceAuthentication #Biometrics #AccessControl #PhysicalSecurity #Privacy

Last day at GSX, and one conversation has come up again and again: privacy. Privacy in face-based security isn’t one setting or one architecture. Every organization has different requirements for when facial authentication or face matching should occur, where biometric data should be stored, and how long information should be retained. The technology should give organizations meaningful choices around those decisions, not make the decisions for them. That’s what we’ve been demonstrating at GSX with SAFR: • Intent-based facial authentication with SAFR SCAN • Biometrics stored on a card or mobile device • On-device face matching with SAFR Cameras • Immediate deletion of non-matching biometric data Security and privacy don’t have to compete. The goal is to give organizations greater control over both. SecurityInfoWatch.com took a closer look at SAFR’s approach to biometric privacy and the technology we’re showcasing this week at GSX. If you’re at GSX for the final day, come see it in action at Booth 2051. #GSX2026 #PhysicalSecurity #Biometrics #AccessControl #Privacy

Great to have our CEO Rob Glaser in Zagreb! A moment to connect, align, and celebrate the incredible work our team does every day. #BuildingTogether

Badge readers were not designed to verify who really entered. They were designed to recognize that a credential was presented. And readers certainly cannot tell if the person holding the badge is the person it was issued to. In a data center, where the stakes of unauthorized access are high and growing, that's a meaningful gap. Shared credentials. Tailgating. Legacy systems that were never designed to know with certainty who entered through the door. On June 23rd, we're joining Genetec a live panel on what it actually takes to close that gap, without a full system overhaul. If physical security is on your radar, this one's worth your time.
