Happy Halloween

This year Halloween was so much fun!  The girls decided to be flower gardens and we had a lot of fun fixing and painting hair, tucking in flowers and getting their bumblebee all set.  Eloise and Adeline loved the flowers in their hair and Everly thought her costume was so cute.  She wore it for several days straight, even to bed.

Teagan was going to be a pumpkin in the garden, but decided last minute to go as Santa Claus, he seems to be growing out of Halloween which makes me sad.  He still loves the candy, but the excitement is fading.

After we did a quick hour of trick or treating to some neighbors (it was FREEZING!) we headed back home and made donuts for the people who came to our house to trick or treat.  It was so fun to have a crowd there and to have something warm to give them.  I think we will be doing it again next year!

Pierced Ears for Eloise

After Eloise's failed first attempt at getting her ears pierced at a tattoo parlor last year, she decided to try again, but decided to try Claire's instead to see if it was a little less scary.  She worked hard to do jobs and be obedient so that she could save up "minutes" to use to go on a date with mom and dad.  After a month or two of saving up, she finally had enough!

She was so tough and brave and didn't even cry one drop.  After they pierced the first one she jumped a little and grabbed for her ear right after.  When she felt the earring she started giggling uncontrollably and was so excited.   She anxiously waited for the day that she could change them out and all she wanted for Christmas was new earrings, specifically mini hoop earrings that she could wear.  Eloise is all girl!

Family Pictures

Melissa Hersley took our pictures this year and did a great job!  Good job family for being so goofy and fun and I love you all!

Random

This year has been such a blur!  I have been very caught up working on my vision therapy which means the family blog has been neglected. I don't remember enough details about these pictures, but they were too fantastic not to share!  Enjoy!

We spent many hot summer days swimming at Apple Athletic Club.  Teagan and Eloise are little fishies and Adeline isn't far behind.  Everly learned how to use a floaty this year and LOVES swimming!

Eloise, Grandma Packer, Adeline, Great Grandma Packer

We went on tons of camping trips and enjoyed every single one!   Apparently, we are a camping family!

Teagan and his friends, Savanah and Haven Ivins and Ashytn Davis hosted "Summer Splash Camp" this year and had so much fun.  They also learned a ton.  They had 15-30 kids for three days in a row for 3 hours and organized activities, crafts, snacks and games for all of them.  It was quite the undertaking, but they made some good money, I think about $50 each which was so exciting for them.  They spent at least 20 hours preparing for it and were exhausted at the end, but it was all worth it.

We got a dog and all have been learning how to properly take care of him.  Scout has been so fun and SO much work!

One of our favorite summer activities has been bike rides.  Everyone loves it, except Adeline.  She has a tiny bike with tiny tires and gets very frustrated that she can't keep up with the rest of us.  Maybe she'll be getting a new one with big tires soon, she just needs to get taller first!

Eloise went to Lagoon with Grandma and Grandpa Daniels this year and Teagan got to go on a trip to Disneyland with them and Taylin.  He had a blast spending time with them and getting spoiled out of his mind.  They even let Teagan pick the car!  He went for a cherry red jeep, excellent choice Teagan!

Zac and I had the pleasure of watching the 5 Lewis kids while Jeff and Julie went on a little ski trip.  We were able to catch a glimpse of what Great Grandma Durtschi experienced with raising her 9 children.  The age gaps with her 9 kids are very similar to what you get when you mix the Lewis and Daniels crew together.  Such a party!

Eloise and Adeline had K'Drianna over and they decked themselves out in pink sticky jewels from Grandma Packer and had so much fun!

Someone was less than excited about getting a haircut, but look at that mop!  It was definitely time.  haha

And last, some pictures of all the hams in our life.  Everyone loves to take a crazy picture.  Everly was only that excited about wearing panties for about two hours, things went dramatically downhill at that point and we gave up and hope to start again at the new year.
