BYU GAME!

Seth and I were able to take our oldest four children to the BYU game this past weekend. We had a great time and it was fun to go on a family outing. BYU won the game, but it was exciting and came down to the last play. This was Elias's first, and probably last game for a while. He did well, but not interested in the game at all, more intersted in playing with his cousin Will and eating. He had a good time and loves his new hat that he got. (not shown in the pictures) We love doing this with the kids and hope to continue this tradition for many years to come. Go Cougars!

Elias's Pumpkin

Elias went to the pumpkin patch with his preschool class this year and he was so excited. He picked out his perfect pumpkin and dad helped him carve it. The pumpkin, which he has named "salty", is now his best friend. He brings it inside when he thinks it is too cold outside. He eats with hit, plays with it, and talks to it. Should I be worried or is he just really liking the pumpkin carving thing? I'm not quite sure what to do, but it does make me laugh.

Here is Elias with some of his prechool friends. It has been really nice here, but the day he went to the pumpkin patch it was really cold. We survived and we are glad that we are experiencing some unsually warm weather. The days are beautiful and I will be sad when they come to an end this weekend. It is suppose to be nice for halloween and I'll take it.

Snow!

Well we knew that a cold front was coming and that we would be getting snow, but when we woke up on Sunday morning we weren't expecting this. We got hit the hardest, but it was about three inches of snow and it has been cold the past few days. The thing that helps a little is that it is suppose to be in the 70s for the weekend and beginning of next week. I'm hoping that winter doesn't come this soon, but it did look beautiful on Sunday morning.

Ella is Walking!

We can now say that Ella is walking. I wondered if this was ever going to happen since she loved the bum scoot so much, but last week she proved me wrong. She started to just take more and more steps and get more confindent. What is funny is that once she started to walk I noticed that when she would fall that sometimes she would then crawl to get to a place to stand or just where she wanted to go. This is interesting because I have never seen her crawl except after she learned to walk. This girl is always keeps us guessing. I wonder what is next?

October Birthdays

Elias and I celebrated our birthdays this month and it is always fun to be able to celebrate with my little boy.

Elias has grown up so much this past year. He still loves gum and received gum from several different friends. He did manage to chew all that gum in about two days. He also consumed a lot of candy. His Aunt calls him Willie Wonka because he loves candy and he lived up to that name this past week.

I love having Elias home with me during the day. He is so good to Ella and loves playing with her. He calls her "El" which I think is so cute. He loves riding his bike these days. He has been riding without training wheels for sometime and has even graduated to a bigger bike that a friend of mine gave him. We love this kid and I love sharing a birthday by his.
