Colorado Computer Museum will have an exhibit at the 20th Rocky Mountain Information Security Conference (RMISC), June 23–25, 2026, at the Colorado Convention Center. If you are attending, please come by and say “Hi!”. These traveling exhibits take time and money to do and we do several each year. Please volunteer or donate money to help us educate folks about the history of computing.

The System Source Computer Museum will be exhibiting their original Apple-1, one of fifteen on display worldwide, repaired and powered on! Corey Cohen, an Apple-1 expert, will perform the repair and also discuss the history and hardware of the Apple-1 at 1 PM.
We’ll also have our Apple 1 replica running, so you can use its software and program it. Event cost is $15 (museum volunteers are free), with lunch available for purchase at noon. Register online.

KansasFest 2026, the 38th annual celebration of the Apple II, will take place at the University of Illinois Springfield on July 14–19, and will highlight the Apple IIGS. This year’s event will feature speakers and special guests who have made significant contributions to the Apple IIGS, keeping the machine alive for nearly four decades. As always, all retro computer enthusiasts are welcome, including fans of the Apple I, II, and III, and all other retro computer platforms.
KansasFest is the largest and longest running annual Apple II conference. Users, programmers, hobbyists, and retrocomputing enthusiasts are invited for days and nights of sessions, demos, announcements, contests, and camaraderie.
