I'm Sorry

Ok so a couple of blogs ago I talked about how we had to get Drew a new car seat and high chair, and said that if any of you wanted to help out, great. Well Andy read it and said that it sounded like I was begging for money. I'm sorry if you thought that. I was just joking as many of you know. I was just saying how expensive kids are. I though it was funny but someone didn't. lol Just for the record we didn't get any money from any one, but we did already buy the high chair and car seat. Drew loves his new car seat because he can see out the windows better. There great we love them.

Shea Shea got sick with the super bug

Last Friday Andy's work sent him to the Philippines for a week to go help with some accounting over there. Which meant that drew and I were going to be home all by ourselves. I'm not a big fan of being home alone all day, it gets boring sometimes, Drew and I look forward to when Andy comes home from work. Now we would have to wait a week until we saw him again. That would be a really long week. Besides I am the biggest baby when it comes to sleeping in my house with out him here. ( I swear there is some one living in my attic when Andy is gone, I think that someone leaves light on). I decided that Drew and I needed to get out of here while Andy was gone. So Friday night I found a flight out to California for Saturday. Drew and I went and visited my sister for a week while Andy was gone. It was great the weather was nice, and it was nice to be away from the snow. Plus it's always fun to spend time with my cute nieces. But when we got out there, drew had a cold, and wasn't very happy, (the first couple of days), then my niece got sick with the super bug, which is the flu and a cold combined. So the whole time I was hoping that drew wouldn't catch it. Then the last two days I've had a really bad ear ache and cold. (I think I might have an ear infection.) It was a fast trip but well worth it. Now we are all home, Andy and Drew are both in bed because Andy has been awake for 27 hrs, (its a long trip to the Philippines) and Drew had a long day traveling, plus he is still a little sick. It's so sad to see him sick, but he is still a very happy baby, even when he is sick. Thanks to all of you who helped me out so that we could go on this trip.

Ok so I know that I have been a really big slacker at Blogging lately, but that is because for the last month (while Drew is sleeping), I have been going into my own little imaginary world that is full of Vampires and Werewolves. For those of you who know what I am talking about oh yeah!!! For those of you who don't like the Bateman girls who never seem to get into the same things we do, like Cafe Rio, Lord of The Rings, showering daily....j.k. Anyways there are these three amazing books out called TWILIGHT, NEW MOON, AND ECLIPSE. If you haven't read them you need too. I can't wait for the movie to come out. So I apologize that you haven't seen very many pictures of drew lately due to my fantasy world.

Well Drew can sit up now on his own, loves to eat all his new baby food (and grunts while doing it), and loves to call me MOM (I wish). He went to his 6 month apt. monday, and his weight is 18.4 pounds and almost 29 inches long. Yeah he's a tall kid. We get to get him a new carseat soon! Those of you that feel the need to help pitch in so Drew can be as safe as possible in the car, call me, I will give you our address. We take cash or check. We are working on American Express right now, but the odds aren't looking to good. Oh we also need a highchair too. FYI Drew loves looking at himself in the mirror lately, Andy says that he gets that from him, but I donno, I enjoy spending time in front of the mirror.
