We went exploring in Eagle Bluffs Conservation Area and discovered a great hike right next to the Missouri River. We saw all sorts of frogs, ripe mulberry trees, wildflowers, and cicadas. What a fun Memorial Day. Next up: grilling and potato salad!

Crazy storm

This storm passed right over us a few minutes after this picture was taken; we only live a few minutes from where this was taken. The funnel cloud was gone by then, however. Crazy. The thunderstorm was rotating.

For Mother's day, Sydney(Andrew) gave me a Missouri bird book. So we went to Eagle Bluffs Conservation area and had fun! These were the best pictures I took. One of the many blue herons we saw.



The kids have been sick, so there's been a lot of this going on.
