Pink and Black Bachelorette Party!!!

Summer is here! This past weekend I went to San Antonio for my friend Michal's Bachelorette/Lingerie Party! Friday night we stayed at the Riverwalk Plaza Hotel and went out on the Riverwalk. We first had dinner at this Mexican restaurant called La Margarita and then went to Howl at the Moon. Here are some pictures of our evening!

Saturday we went to a winery in San Antonio called Water 2 Wine. Afterwards, I met up with Kimberly and her nephew for lunch! It was a fun weekend!

I'm now back in College Station and plan to lay out by the pool all day with my cousin! Hope you have a great Memorial Day weekend!

Weekend and The Bachelorette!

I made a last minute decision on Friday to go home for the weekend. I'm in a wedding next month and I needed to go into Houston to pick up my dress.

After picking up my dress on Saturday, I met up with my friend Kailee for lunch at BJ's! We had fun hanging out and catching up!

Yesterday Kyle and I had lunch at Baker Street Pub in Sugar Land (his hometown). Sugar Land reminds me a lot of The Woodlands. Afterwards, we sat out by his pool with his family and relaxed. It was fun seeing where he grew up! : )

Are y'all ready for The Bachelorette?! Now I can look forward to Monday's again!

Canvas Picture, Crackle Nail Polish, and IDOL!

It's Friday! : ) Hope you all have had a great week!

A few weeks ago I hung up the canvas picture my best friend Kimberly gave me for my birthday. I think it looks so good in my living room! What do you think?

The other day I went to the nail salon and had them use the "crackle" nail polish for the first time on my nails. The lady first put down a base color (I used black) and then used the "crackle" purple nail polish on top. It's SOO cool! Have you heard of this before?

I should of got something a little more summery. The black/purple will go great for Halloween! Ha! 

So did y'all watch Idol last night? What do you think about the final two contestants? Do you think Haley should of got kicked off? I think Haley is pretty talented....I'm kinda surprised she went home. I still think James should of been in the final two!

Spilling the Beans!

I decided that it was finally time I fill y'all in on Kyle! We started talking in February and met for the first time at Chuy's back in March. I was so nervous about meeting him but my cousin Caitlin insisted that I invite him to dinner. : ) Dinner went great and I thought he was really nice/funny.

The only thing is that I'm only 4'11 and he is 6'4. I'm sure people stare at us when we're together. It literally looks like I'm dating a giant and he is dating a midget. Ha! Kyle is an EMT and soon to be firefighter/paramedic. I tell people that he is perfect for me since I'm such a hypochondriac! We have been together now for almost two months! : )

Graduation Weekend!

I have been so bad about posting lately. I promise once summer starts I will get better about blogging everyday. Last Friday was my last day subbing for the long term Kindergarten aide position. I really enjoyed working with the Kindergarten team. I'm taking off three days this week to work on teaching applications....I'm hoping I can possibly get a job here in Bryan/College Station. Next Friday is the last day of school....I will be working with my mentor from student teaching all next week. I'm so excited about that. I love that I was able to see the kids I student taught enter first grade and now I will get to seem leave. 

This past weekend I went to a lot of graduations! My boyfriend, Kyle, graduated from Blinn with a degree in Fire Science so I put together this gift cooler for him! I promise that I will fill y'all in on him soon! : )

I put a six pack of beer in it, lottery tickets, a cigar, a fire hate, fire truck toy, a shirt from Chuy's (that's where we met for the first time), Vegas Vacation (his fav movie), poker shaped pretzels, hot sauce, and a picture of us!

 

 Friday evening we went to my cousin's boyfriends graduation party. Matt graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Rangeland Management. Afterwards, we all went out to Northgate!

On Saturday Caitlin and I took a rode trip to Dallas for her brother Jared's law school graduation from SMU!

This past weekend I celebrated my birthday here in College Station with all my friends and boyfriend Kyle. My best friend Kimberly and cousin Caitlin came into town! We all went out to eat Mexican food at Los Cucos and then Northgate! Thank y'all so much for helping me celebrate! :) Here are some pics!
