One Year Ago, CHRISTMAS, and Chocolate from Hawaii!

Thanksgiving break was so not long enough. I did NOT want to get up this morning for work. I'm already counting down till Christmas! I was thinking this morning how last year around this time I just finished student teaching and was getting ready to graduate. I cannot believe that it has been almost a year since graduation! Also, around this time my cousin Cait and I were planning our trip to New York City on Christmas Day! Time sure does fly by!

This weekend I had to work. Thank God I was off on Black Friday though. Kimberly and I went to Walmart/Target Friday afternoon but didn't have too much luck. Friday evening we went to the movies to see Breaking Dawn. It was pretty good! I spent the rest of the weekend decorating my apartment a little bit more for Christmas and watching Christmas movies!

Kyle's mom and dad went to Hawaii earlier this month for a vacation. When Kyle went home for Thanksgiving she gave him some chocolate and a t-shirt from Hawaii to give to me. I thought that was really sweet of her to think of me. I ate the whole box of chocolates in like ten minutes. I really am turning into my mother! I'm starting to get a little worried! Haha!

A&M v.s. Texas Thanksgiving!!!!!

Hope y'all all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Yesterday we all tailgated and then went to the A&M v.s. Texas game here in College Station! My best friend, dad, uncle, cousins Caitlin and Jared, and my cousin Caitlin's fiance Matt all came into town for the game! My dad cooked chili for all of us. We had a good time! Yesterday's game was the last A&M v.s.Texas game since we are moving to the SEC!  I'm so sad the Aggies lost! : ( We should of won!!!! I'm glad I was able to go to the last game though!

Exciting NEWS!!!

I have exciting news....my cousin Caitlin got engaged last night to her boyfriend Matt! CONGRATS Caitlin and Matt! I'm so happy for y'all both! I hope Matt is ready to join the family! :)

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!!!

Hope y'all had a good weekend! I had to work Saturday and Sunday so that wasn't too much fun. However, I did get into the Christmas spirit a little bit this weekend! Yes, I know it's not even Thanksgiving yet. Haha! I wanted to put my little 2 ft Christmas tree up but realized it was in a box somewhere at my house back in Houston.  Kyle was so sweet and bought me a 4 ft (which is almost as tall as me) Christmas tree on Sunday from Target. It is actually perfect for my apartment! : ) We had fun putting it up and decorating it. I also added a few other Christmas decorations throughout my apartment! Enjoy the tour!

First Houston Texans Game and a Birthday!!!

Hope y'all are having a good week! I have been meaning to blog this week but haven't found time! Last Friday I took a personal day....yep I'm already starting to be like my mom. : ) Friday afternoon I went home for the night....my parents invited Kyle and I to go to Kirby's Steakhouse with them to listen to Yelba (my dad's favorite band). We had fun....Kyle is starting to like Yelba too! Haha! 

Saturday we went over to Kyle's parents house. His mom is from New Mexico so they eat a lot of green chili....that night she cooked Chili Relleno's for us which was right up my alley!

Sunday Kyle took me to my first Houston Texans game at Reliant Stadium! We went with his uncle and aunt. We ate breakfast at Pappasitos before the game so I was in heaven. My dad ended up meeting up with us because someone who was going to go to the game backed out at the last minute. It was a lot of fun!

Yesterday was my friend Kristan's birthday! Last night we went out to eat at Newk's to celebrate! Happy Birthday Kristan! Hope you had a great day! I forgot to take a picture last night so here is an old pic of us! : )
