FLASHBACK of 2011!!!

I can't believe that 2011 is almost OVER! I'm excited for the New Year! Here is a little recap of 2011:

January

Helped move my cousin Caitlin to San Marcos after we graduated from A&M. :( We lived in the same apartment complex for over two years in College Station. I sure do miss her!

 I FINALLY passed my EC-6th grade content test! 

February

 Celebrated my best friend Kimberly's 24th birthday in San Antonio! 

My dad retired from the light company after 37 years. 

 My friend Maegen got married!

March

Went to go see Billy Currington at the Houston Rodeo with my dad.

My cousin Dalena got married!!! 

Went to the Houston Rodeo to see Miranda Lambert! 

Had a fun relaxing Spring Break!

Kyle and I started dating!

April

Went to Gruene, Texas for the weekend to hang out with Kimberly and Cait!

Celebrated my Golden Birthday (24 yrs) on April 24th! It was also Easter Sunday!

Went to Horseshoe Bay for my Birthday with my parents and Kimberly!

May

Went to San Antonio for my friend Michal's Bachelorette Party!

June

I was a bridesmaid in my friend Michal's wedding!!!

July

Went to the Casino with Kyle! I was so jealous he won and I didn't! 

My dad got a new boat!

Took a last minute vacation to Gulf Shores, Alabama with my parents! 

August

Moved out of my college apartment. 

Started my new job as an assistant in Head Start! 

Moved into my new apartment! 

September

Went to San Marcos to the float river and celebrate my cousin Caitlin's Birthday!

Kyle and I celebrated our 6th month anniversary!

October

Visited my dad in Rockport to go fishing!

Carved my first pumpkin in years! 

Halloween 2011 - Elly May, Toddler and Tiara girl, Freddy Krueger, and Lady Gaga!

Kyle and I went as Jethro and Elly May from the Beverly Hillbillies!  

November

My cousin Caitlin got engaged!!!! : ) So happy for them!

Went to the LAST A&M vs. t.u. football game on Thanksgiving Day! 

December

Celebrated Kyle's 25th Birthday! 

 Went into Houston to see the play White Christmas!

Met up with Kristan, Kimberly, and Caitlin in Bastrop, TX to all get together one last time before Kristan moved to Australia! I'm so happy we all got to get together!

The teacher that I'm an assistant for in Head Start got her Aggie Ring earlier this month and graduated from A&M with her Master's Degree. A few weeks ago, we had the opportunity to take our Head Start class to A&M to get her Aggie ring!

And finally....Christmas 2011!

Christmas 2011 Part Two

Hope y'all are having a great week! On Christmas Day we went over to both of my Grandparent's houses. At my Grandma Frances', we had the traditional Christmas dinner of turkey and dressing and at my other Grandma's house, we had Mexican food! I was so excited to have Mexican food this year for Christmas! It was right up my alley! I love my new pajamas my Grandma gave us! We all had a good time...it was fun seeing everyone again!

Today I had lunch with my friend Maegen....it was fun catching up! I haven't seen her since her wedding back in February!

Christmas 2011 Part One

Hope y'all all had a wonderful Christmas with your friends and family. We went over to both of my Grandparent's houses yesterday. I'm going to do two different posts for Christmas since I have so many pictures.

Last Friday, Kyle came over so we could exchange Christmas presents! I gave him a gift certificate for a one hour massage, a new shirt, and a reel for his new fishing pole!

I think the reel was his favorite thing!

I LOVE my new pink camera Kyle gave me! Earlier in the day he told me he bought me something for the winter so I guessed UGG Boots... I thought it was so funny that the camera was in a UGG Boots box! Haha! 

That evening, we went to dinner at PF Changs! We had a good time!

I can't believe a year ago today we were in New York City during the blizzard!!! : )

We were FREEZING!!!
