Longest post ever!!! Sorry I have been MIA the past couple of days...I have just been enjoying my Spring Break! I have spent most of my break just relaxing by the pool and going to the Houston Rodeo!

Wednesday Kimberly and I went to the Rodeo to see Gary Allan. We always enjoy looking at the livestock, going to the carnival, and eating! LOL. Afterwards, we went to the Hideout to watch The Josh Abbott Band. The Hideout is in a small tent they have set up outside the actual rodeo for smaller bands to play in after the big performance. It was fun!

Friday we drove to Cy-Fair to meet up with my friend Kristan and cousin Caitlin. Kristan invited us to go with her to the Rodeo to see the Eli Young Band. Have y'all ever heard of them before? Mike Eli actually grew up right around where I live! Also, he graduated from the University of North Texas where Kimberly goes to school.
At Kristan's house before we left
Me, Cait, and Kristan

We took tons of pictures....just warning ya!
When we got there we had about three hours to spare before the actual rodeo started so we decided to watch the pig races and see Swifty the Swimming Pig! Don't ya love our pig noses? Ha! Thanks Kristan!
We survived the Swine Flu!!!
Caitlin and I enjoying our Cupcake!!!
Cowgirls!!!
Story behind pic: When we first took this picture we thought it would be a grand idea to stand on the blue fence. Bad idea....as we started standing on it the entire thing about fell down on us!!! We were sooo embarrassed...I think everyone was staring! Thank God we caught it before it fell because we could of got seriously hurt! Ha!
Gig em!!!!
Watching Eli Young! It was seriously the best concert I have been to in awhile! The band even jumped off the stage to shake the audience's hand!
Kimberly and her friend Brandon
After the concert we went to the Hideout again and then IHOP! We had a blast! Thanks Kristan for inviting me! It was so much fun! We will have to make going to the Rodeo an annual thing!
Hope everyone is doing great and having a relaxing weekend! I'm dreading going back to school this coming week!

That night we went to a club called Louie's. Even though it was freezing that night we still wanted to wear our new spring break clothes that we had bought! We thought it would not be to bad since we would only have to be outside just to get into the club. But we were wrong! Louies is an outside bar/club and it was freeezing! We didn't stay there too long because it was cold and really expensive. Cody grew up really close to Padre so he knows a lot of people down there. So after Louie's we decided to go get in his bosses boat to watch a movie. It was sooo nice! It had a couch, big screen tv, refrigerator, bathroom and everything in it!
