Look

When life attacks,

you have to fight back.

You have to strike

while the iron is hot.

The heat burns inside,

and I ride that rage into

the battle of my mind.

What I find inside,

is that there is nowhere

left to hide.

I face the mirror and I stop.

I see the sadness,

reflecting back at me,

like the power of a thousand suns

burning,

the anger off my very bones.

and I laugh.

I relax but I do not crumble.

No cookie am I, but I am humble.

Humbled by the experience of life,

by it’s madness,

and sadness,

by my insignificance,

and my worth.

When you loosen rage from its cage,

don’t try to shove it back in.

Release it and move on.

I want you to know, that your perfect,

just the way you are.

I wouldn’t change one flaw,

These imperfections make you perfect.

Don’t be like them, don’t fit in,

I know it can be tough.

As an individual,

can be anything you want.

So be it, do it, set it free.

I stand all alone,

forgotten and unvisited.

I stand here, Where I have always been.

watching and waiting,

for others to come.

I stand, I wait, Alone.

Rooted in place, and left behind.

I stand and I cry as lovers carve their names in me,

never knowing love myself, I stand, I wait…….. Alone

talking, laughing, playing, baking.

Good or bad times, whatever your need be.

Long nights, holding you tight,

talking to you, our love shines bright.

My Morning Lover

Awakened, by the touch of you,
against my waiting lips.
Exhausted, by the night before,
my body shakes, like cracking whips.
I breath in your aroma,
it pulls me into your embrace.
The thought of you, inside me,
brings the colour, back into my face.
I crave to have you, next to me,
whenever I first wake.
I always find true love, in you.
From every sip of you I take.
Much more than just an addiction,
I will love you till the end.
You are always there each morning.
Coffee………. My best friend.

A crashing and clashing

of catastrophes, and complete chaos.

Chaos

creates a complete conundrum.

Can cosmic creators

craft a cure for

cancer?

Summer reading

I have been slacking really bad on reading this summer. So I have to decided to make a list of books that I must read by the end of the summer, or there will be dire circumstances. Well, most likely I’ll be pretty lenient with myself, but I am going to try and read these ten books by October. I mostly picked these books because, I’ve been meaning to read them and for whatever reason I just haven’t yet. Well enough of my rambling. Here, in no particular order is:

My Summer Reading List

Catcher in the Rye- J.D Salinger (I’ve had this book for years, and I just keep forgetting to read it)

The Hitch Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy – Douglas Adams ( Another one that I’ve wanted to read for years and years)

The Trial – Franz KafkaI (Love Kafka, and I know this is a crucial piece of his)

The Brothers Karamazov – Fyodor Dostoevsky (Heard of this for years, but I’ve really wanted to read it since I read Slaughterhouse-Five)

On The Road – Jack Kerouac (I loved dharma bums)

Naked Lunch – William S. Burroughs (Tried, enjoyed it, fell out of it, and now I will try again)

Midnight’s Children – Salman Rushdie  (I was reading about controversial books, and saw this, sounds great)

Dune – Frank Herbert (my parents have been telling me for years that I would love Dune, So I thought I’d give it a chance)

The Stand – Stephen King (Love most of what I’ve read of his, and I’ve seen the movie which is why I put this off so long)

The Girl Who Played with Fire – Stieg Larsson (just finished the first one of the trilogy)

(O and if anyone has any other ideas,feel free to let me know what books you really enjoyed reading lately or whenever. I am always adding books to my reading list, these are off a much bigger list lol)

Here I Come

Here  I sit, waiting for twelve would be victims to pass judgement on my so called crimes.

Here  I think about the weak and pathetic souls that I have captured.  Here  in my head, I am God.  Here  I can revisit all of my greatest works.   Here  I sit, picturing the look in their eyes, as I snuffed the life out of them.  Here  I can bask in their screams, and dance with their lifeless corpses, once again.  Here  I can smell their musky fear and taste their warm sticky lifeblood.  Here  I picture their loved ones sobbing uncontrollably at the funerals.

Here  is where I live, and when they destroy my body, here is where I will stay.  Here , with all of their innocent souls to play with.  Here  is my heaven and their hell.  Here  I sit, with the replay button slammed down.

Here  I wait, and then my idiot lawyer tells me it’s time to go back in.  Here  I walk confidently into the courtroom, and glance at all of the souls that I could have captured.  Here  is where the judgement happens.  Here  is when the cries breakout through the courtroom.  Here  is when I am found not guilty.  Here  is when I start picking out my next dance partner.

Working on my Novel

After months of putting it off, I am going to finally put the majority of my effort into finishing my first novel. I am hoping to get to the point of editing by Christmas. Even though I’ve only been blogging for a few days, it has sparked my need to write again, Its like when I was a kid again, seeing an old friend after summer vacation. Thanks for everyone that has been following me, you all inspire me to create new things. I’ll be posting snippets of my novel as I progress also. so keep an eye out.
