I am so proud of Nicholas, he was honored today at school as student of the month.  The character trait he was recognized with was Honest. His teacher said that he shows honesty in his class by owning up to something when he does wrong...  I am so very proud of him, he has over come a lot this school year.  I am so very blessed to have him as my son :)

I can't believe Brianna is 16, we had so much fun celebrating with her family and friends.  A new chapter of dating, ahhh I am not ready for that.  I bet her mother isn't either.  Brianna is a strong girl, very talented and a good example to all her brother's and sister's.  She is fun loving and is not afraid to stand up for what is right.  I love you Bri, I thank the Lord everyday that you are part of my life.  I am lucky to know you :)

Purging...

I know that doesn't sound like a good word.  But I think it describes what I am doing very well.  I am going through my storage units and purging old memories and stuff.  I didn't realize how emotional it would be, and I have only gone through 5 boxes.  I guess the hard thing is to say good bye to the old and move forward.  Which shouldn't be so hard considering what I have been through.  But I find myself crying when I remember certain things.  I guess the saddest thing is what could have been.  So I have decided to take pictures as I am doing this to make good memories, because I have my sister helping me and that is bound to bring on some laughs!!!              

Counting Blessings

It is really easy for me to get down and worry about what is going to happen the next month.  But instead I am reminded of the battle that I am fighting everyday, that is to keep my kids safe.  Then I start to remember the special talents each if them bring into our family.

 Tanner and his infectious smile.  He loves to write stories and is very good at spelling.  He has a knack to know when I am having a hard time and gives me a big hug!

 Nicholas is sensitive and very independent.  He loves to draw and is very good at it.  He also has a sharp sense of humor that keeps me laughing!

 Abbie is smart beyond her years.  She loves do things to pamper herself, like pedicures and manicures.  She is great at seeing things that need to be done and surprising me by doing it!

 Amelia my baby, she loves to help me anyway she can.  She also like to do things herself.  She is excited to go to school, but I love that I have more time with her before she goes to school.

Brianna is a great dancer and very artistic.  She is a great example to me and her siblings.  She is so strong and has been able to get through a lot.  She gives me strength!

These are some of my blessings and the reasons why I keep going.  I love them each so much and am grateful everyday that I am so blessed to have them as my children :)
