An optimist is sad only once when he is proven wrong. But, a pessimist is sad twice, once when he is proven right, the second when he is proven wrong.
Me and my optimism!
In childhood,
I was the butt of everyone’s jokes, or, criticism.
I decided if I didn’t criticize anyone,
keep everyone in good humor, or help everyone,
they would not criticize me.
But oh, my fate!
They did not stop criticizing me.
However, I improved a lot.
Look in the mirror. Does the person you see match the person you feel like on the inside? How much stock do you put in appearances?
