Random post

I just have to say I am so blessed to have the family and friends that I do. I have my phases where I get so busy and don't talk to anyone for a while and it's not that I don't love any of you anymore it's that I get so caught up in my own life, I forget to take time out to say hi and see how your life is going. So for those of you that I haven't talked to much for a while I love you and would love to hear from you about how things are going in your world, ( I know the whole 4 or 5 people that read this) LOL.
I need to thank all of you that do read this for touching my life and or being there for me when you were needed. Life has been a ride for sure, had a lot of ups and plenty of downs but I think I have learned from it all. Again thank you all. You have helped me to become the woman I am. Loves!!!!!!

June

Without having pictures to look I can't remember what we did in June, so I'll do my best to remember...
Eric took me and our 2 kids to Wasatch to camp and go golfing. We called and they said there were plenty of open spots, so we head up Friday after work and there's only 1 spot left and the girl says she doesn't think our trailer will fit, needless to say Eric wasn't to happy..... We proceed to go down to the 1 spot and he manages to squeeze us in there, (thank god) the man needed a break.
We got set up camp, and went to bed. The next day we took the dogs to Jordanelle so they could play and swim, wow it was cold. The dogs loved it though.
We had a tee time that afternoon so we played 9 holes, it was beautiful up there. Of course we had a good time. (I think I can get used to golf). Got back to the trailer and ate dutch oven roast for dinner, it was soooo good.
Took the dogs for a walk and slowly packed things up to go home. (I love getting away for the weekends but it's a lot of work to camp for 2 days). While on our walk some stupid dog attacked Jersey, he wasn't to bad, poor thing.
We decided to swing by Utah lake so the dogs could swim some more, they had a blast. I love that I found a guy that loves the same things I do,,, camping, and dogs are the biggest ones, but there are many more.
A few days after we got home, we took the dogs to get shaved and the groomer noticed a red bump under Jersey's arm and J isn't acting like himself, Eric takes him home and he won't leave the garage, he just laid there shivering, we thought he was dieing, he finally got up and we ran him to the vet ER, she ended up giving him some antibiotics, I can't believe how much they try to get out of you. She wanted us to leave him there and let them do tests, best case scenario would've cost 1500 and worst case would've been 2400. The antibiotics cured him. We're pretty sure the sores he got from the other dog got infected and that was the problem. I hate vets.

I know there were other things we did in June but I can not remember them right now. Posts are later to come when I do remember.

Memorial Day

We went to Fairview to the Skyline Mountain Resort and camped, they've got a campground and a golf course. So we of course went camping and golfing. It was only my second time golfing but we had a good time. The weather was good Friday night, so we played a couple holes was all because it got dark, we got down there kind of late, Got up Saturday and golfed 18 holes and had a blast. Eric has been pretty good and patient with teaching me how to gold, I had never played regular golf until I met him so I had no clue how to play. I've had a lot of fun learning though. The dogs loved it, it was cool enough they could lay out in front of the trailer and it felt so good, that is until Saturday afternoon. We went and did some yard work at him mom's house in Mt Pleasant while we were down there and it started to rain, so we went back to the trailer and watched movies and snuggled up. It was nice to go camping on a holiday weekend and not have a lit of people there.

My handsome boys, poor things had to be tied up,

Grandma Barney's Birthday

Holy cow time flies. There is a lot that I have done since I last blogged and I'm on a work computer that I can rarely use so I'm taking advantage...
We had my grandma's 80th birthday party, my aunt Marsha did it and she did a great job.
My grandma is an amazing lady, she is one of my hero's in life. She's been through a lot and she is still one strong woman. She wrote a very short story about her life and I really enjoyed hearing it. Grandpa passed away a few years ago so she lives alone, (I'm a terrible granddaughter, I never go see her anymore) but when I do go see her, I love how she has so many stories to tell and a lot of them you've heard before but you still enjoy hearing them. I hope that I can be as strong as my grandma but I'm pretty sure I won't be able to accomplish that.
I'm glad that I've been able to grow up with my grandma and be so close, I'm very lucky.
I hope she had a great birthday. Thanks Marsha, you did a great job. I hope I will get time to post some pictures.

Mom's birthday

My beautiful Mom turned 58 on April 26Th. we had a little dinner for her at my house, Jodi and her family came, they brought Megan, Chad and Jen weren't feeling well, mom and grandma came together. We ate dinner and had cake and ice cream. I think Megan enjoyed getting spoiled with all of us. Eric bought me a princess basket for Easter, it was the day of the birthday party, Megan wanted the tiara and necklace and stuff, she's getting so big. I think Mom enjoyed spending some time with us, these days she doesn't spend much time out of the house, so it was nice to have her up.

Birthday girl with all her favorite girls.

Carrot cake is her favorite.

Eric wants a "Big green tractor" this is all I could afford and all that we have room for so he it got it for Easter.

My pretty princess accessories.

Snowmobiling

After Eric traded the old snowmobile in, and after Fish Lake, Russell and Margaret invited us to go riding with them a few times, we had so much fun, snowmobiles are new to me so I was a whimp and didn't go all over like they do but I stayed on the trails, where I felt comfortable and now I dare have a little more fun.
We went up to Strawberry, Cascade Springs, Tibble Fork, and Fairview, Russell and Margaret didn't go with us everytime, we got brave and went on our own, we had so much fun, Eric is so glad he made the trade.
We did however have the dogs with us most of the time because we felt so guilty leaving them home while we played and they enjoyed it as much as we did.

Schofield

We went ice fishing with Eric's friends, Brian, Judy, Rob, Aaron, and Brian's parents. I think Eric might have caught one fish but I of course didn't catch any. But I did catch a really good buzz. We took the snowmobiles down and had a blast hanging out with good friends. Russell and Margaret also went down with a coworker from Geneva Rock that has a cabin down there, we went to the cabin afterwards and had a few drinks, it was one of the longest ice fishing days I think I've ever had but I had a blast and would definitely do it again.
