It’s a Bunt cake- a what-A.Bunt.Cake?! Part 2
So if you remember THISpost. I wanted a certain cake. Well I called the bakery and asked how much the cake would cost? And, well, let’s just say they blew my socks off. I went on a cake search, again. And found this little jewel…
I think it is quite delightful and very pretty. I called the lady who created this beaut and scheduled an appointment. My faithful friend Lindsey and I Trekked out to the middle of Holtom City (Makes me think of Gotham City) and met with this lovely lady, who bought us coffee! She’s already won a place in my heart 🙂 It all worked out GREAT! She was a big help. I’m actually getting more than just this cake. I’m getting a Groom’s cake, flowers for the bridal party, me, parents and a little decor for the church. She was sent from above. The Lord is good.
I’m calling her today to finalize everything and take some more steps closer to being done with wedding planning. It’s a good thing, because I’m SO over it. I can’t wait to marry James in 45 days!!! Praise the Lord for His faithfulness and provision.

Well, it’s not really a Bunt cake. I just thought of My Big Fat Greek Wedding and had to use that line as the title to this post! Since it is a about a bunt, er, cake!
It was about 2 months ago that I ran across this cake and have not been able to find one that I like more. I just love it! I e-mailed the lady who created this beaut. and asked how much something like this would cost. I actually have been to their bakery and love it. I just recently discovered this website with the most amazing recipes! Yes, FOOD! I’d like to call it ART! But, *delectable delights* will suffice.
For the food lover out there (which is every living being) you should check this site out http://smittenkitchen.com I’m really not the cooking, baking, take a frozen entree out of the fridge and stick it in the oven, kind of girl. I don’t cook at all! Now, I’m not saying I’ve never cooked (my ma taught me some pretty slammin’ recipes) I just chose not to cook in this part of my life. I like people who cook for me 🙂 Although, I would like to be the “Aunt Bee” of the kitchen. I have a feeling that wont happen until marriage…I feel sorry for the poor unfortunate man who will have to be my food testing guinea pig. Anyway, this post is weird enough! Having a post about food is kind of out of the box for me.
