On black friday…

instead of joining the frenzy at the stores, my cousin and I decided to go watch our favorite local band, Visions Band, for a bit of distraction from the craziness our family is going through right now.

Visions Band usually perform down in South Beach. So on our way down, instead of jumping on the highway to reach our destination faster, my cousin suggested taking the scenic route. We traveled on A1A (paralleled to the Atlantic Ocean) for about 25-30 miles.

Traffic was pleasant. We were feeling ‘irie’ a.k.a. extra nice. Bob Marley music was blasting through the speakers. Windows down, enjoying the cool breeze of beautiful South Florida weather. I caught a few pictures along the way.

Then I have a special treat from our favorite band! 🙂

Here is one of my dearest and most talented of friends, Roy Robinson with Visions Band, performing a cover of Bob Marley’s Could You Be Loved. This video, by no means, does any justice to this man’s gift, rather it serves as a glimpse of what he is truly capable of. He is limitless!

Don’t be afraid to get outa your chair and dance! 😉

New phone, new cam, new features

So I finally got rid of my old phone. Since I still don’t have a reliable camera, I’m glad my new phone provides me with a pretty decent lens. Here are some photos taken with my new phone cam. They are edited through different apps.

After trimming my hair in Midtown, I stopped at the end of a street to capture the splendor.

Beach time in Hollywood.

Parked in the parking lot at work during lunch. I love rain!

Wearing my jade accessory in my favorite place, the beach.

Cloudy and rainy day at the beach in Fort Lauderdale

Waves crashing, i love it!

My favorite meal after a good run: Spinach & artichoke hummus sammich with cucumber, carrots and alfafa sprouts.

Taken with old phone but edited with new one.

Apenas intentando a enderezarme,

Casi borroso.

Empezó a llover;

Y mirando hacia el cielo,

Tomé de su virtud.

The Leg Series (Haiku Edition)

I love taking pictures of my legs and feet – a fetish, perhaps?

Below are images I decided to put together after a friend suggested they would make a great photo series. I even added a haiku for each picture! Enjoy 🙂

Drops of honeydew
And the scent of nature’s breath
Reside within flesh

Above & beyond
And with the travels of time
Summer’s in my soul

Sweet ripples extend
From the depths of the unknown
To heavenly skies

In magic city
Breeze flows in between my toes
Sun kiss at twilight

So… which is your favorite? I’d love to know!
