Ready For Fall

I love fall, I could live in Fall weather for ages.  Its perfect.  I am especially looking forward to it this year, seen as though MO summers are wretched!  So yesterday I went and snagged myself a Mulled Cider candle from Walmart (yes, their $5 candles actually smell up the whole room!!) and made this pretty little thing to hang on my door.

It will be hanging on the inside of my door though, I don't want it to get ruined in the MO rain!  It's made out of coffee filters and only cost me a mere $1.28 to make.  Awesome right???  I found the idea on this blog.  Go check it out and find out how to make one for yourself!  I love her ideas.

Now I just have to dig out/locate the rest of my fall decorations - somewhere in my garage!  It may be easier to get new ones, which I certainly wouldn't complain about! :)  Hope you are all having as much fun getting ready for Fall as I am!!

PS.  I know this song isn't new...but I am loving it right now.  Enjoy.

I'm Baaaaack!

Has it really been  3 weeks since I last posted?  How does time get away from me like that?! A lot has happened in the last few weeks and I should have taken more pictures!  But alas, I didn't.  So I will share the ones I did take, and fill you in on the rest.

First things first, Andy's sister MacKenzie came to visit for almost 2 weeks.  It was GREAT and we loved having her here.  It was nice to have someone to watch Sabrina the Teenage Witch with - and MacKenzie was such a good sport!

Isn't that the cutest picture ever?? I love it!  Here are some of the fun things we did while Kenzie was here....

* Ate at the Cheesecake Factory * Made MacKenzie a new bag * Went to Springfield and got Frozen Yogurt and Jimmy Johns * Played Wii * Went to the Park * Baked a cake * Spent the night in Saint Louis* Went up in the Arch * Yo My Goodness in Saint Louis * Random trips to Walmart and many other fun things!   Here are a few pictures from the Park and the cake we baked!

I failed to take my camera into the Arch, but it was a pretty amazing sight.  For those of you who have been inside, you know exactly what I mean.  There was also a parade in downtown Saint Louis in honor of 9/11.  It was neat to see so many people out to honor those who were killed, and I am glad we were there to be a part of it.

We had such a great time and we miss you Kenz!!
