Jordan Lake

A couple of weeks ago Andy got a weekend off and didn't have to go in for anything all weekend long!  It was wonderful.  Since we knew that he wasn't going in we decided to take him out to Jordan Lake.  The boys were very excited to swim with Dad.

Unfortunately we left the towels and swimming trunks on the kitchen table, so we had to improvise!

Daddy and Daniel

We love the Ebenezer beach at Jordan Lake.  It has a pretty shallow swim area roped off by some yellow pipes.  An adult can walk most of the way out to the pipes.

Daniel is still very cautious in the water and wouldn't leave Andy's side, and Bradley on the other hand...well..he is kind of wild!

Bradley's big splash!

Daniel riding the "Crocodidle" in.

"I love swimming!"

Check out those little white boys!!

This beach has never been too crowded when we were there.  It is a great place to play in the water and only about 30 minutes from home!

This is how we find our dad most of the time when he is at home.

Starting School!?

First Day of Kindergarten!

Bradley started kindergarten this year!  I can't believe he is old enough already.  It seems like not that long ago I was just starting to walk.  It is amazing how quickly he has grown.  He was very excited to get his own back pack and lunch box since kindergarten is ALL day long here.  His favorite part of the day is when he gets to play on the playground for recess!  After all, that is why you go to school...right?!

Daniel was excited to take Bradley to school...until he realized we were leaving Bradley at the school!

The boys out front

Bradley at his desk.
He is doing super well.  The first couple of days he had a little talking problem.  He just wanted to talk to the other kids all the time, but his teacher says he is adjusting very well and she gets a kick out of him.

The two amigos!  Eliza and Daniel have to bond together now that there is no Bradley to help entertain us!
They don't look too bothered by him being gone, but Daniel really is.  He is like a lost little puppy with out Bradley.  I love that my kids are such good friends!  (Most of the time.)  :)

Bradley would come home sooo exhausted physically, mentally and emotionally the almost two weeks of school.  He is starting to cope with things a little bit better now, but we are still having some issues with his behavior towards me.  Hopefully that won't last long!  Bradley is still very excited to go to school regardless of how tired he is when he gets home.
