pumpkins are taking over the garden!!!
i guess it’s really more like they are taking over our entire backyard. all we have is that little patio and the pumpkins and squash are fighting for every inch…
note to self, make sure your seeds are fully decomposed before spreading the compost in the garden. 😀

kt and i went snowboarding for thanksgiving. it was so fun. but i was super sore cause i haven’t been in years.
we stayed in a hotel that was a few miles from the ski place. after a long day of boarding, we went back to the hotel and sat outside in the hot tub. it was amazing. and, this mountain is only about an hour from denver. not much drive and not much money for boarding, hot tubbing, fish and chips, and beautiful views… oh and don’t let me forget!!! this hotel was probably at least 5-star:
yep. that bic pen has a sticker label barely attached to it with the hotel name. 😀 the place was actually pretty nice, but i thought this was hilarious.
lastly… kt helped herself to some comfort food:
somebody in this room sucks at posting. i’m not gonna name any names.
things are pretty average. work, sleep, eat, hang out. not a whole lot more to it these days. kt and i have recenly gotten addicted to ‘the wire’. we may or may not have watched the entire first season in a week.
i hosted a pampered chef party this week. it was fun. i’m building my collection of stoneware so i can take over the cooking world. mwahaha!
the sky was beautiful the other night. also, it’s nov 13 and it was about 67 degrees today. where do i live???
kt and i found a little kitten on election night. we took it in. we were able to rehome the little kitty, but not before we both fell in love with it. 😦 i can’t find the pictures right now… i’ll have to post the later.

Well, a bit overdue, here are some things for you to ponder…deeply.
Katie and I went to the Louis Vuitton Variety Show–Anarchist Style, during the DNC. It was a chance to get out and dress up. The variety show was lame and ridiculous, but the dressing up was fun. 😀
Katie likes to wear the cat as a scarf. Very handy for these frigid summer days.
Tonight the cats broke through the screen in one of the second story windows and climbed out on to the roof. (Loa is the white one, and Petra is to her left, but she’s the color of the night.)
Erin tried valiantly to get them down (cause they couldn’t quite figure out how to get back in the window.)
But to no avail. Petra then decided to visit the neighbors roof for a while.
Loa tried to follow but was too scared.
So, she cleaned the gutters for us instead. 😀
Ok. I guess that’s the end for now. I will try to be better about updating. Sorry I got lost in the boredom that is my life. 😀
