RetroRapid!
Retro racing at full speed
Free · In-App Purchases
RetroRapid! brings arcade speed to your wrist, your laptop, your tablet, and your phone, with accessible guidance and controls that feel great from the first race.
RetroRapid! is deceptively simple: steer your car left or right to avoid traffic. But as the speed climbs and rival cars multiply, those split-second decisions become a high-stakes dance. One wrong move, and it's game over.
This is retro racing stripped to its purest form. Inspired by the LCD handheld games that defined portable gaming in the late '80s and early '90s. No power-ups, no weapons, no mistakes. An endless highway testing your reflexes. Every overtake adds to your score. Every near-miss gets your heart racing. Every crash makes you hit "restart" immediately.
Every overtake counts. Every crash stings. Chase your high score, climb the leaderboards, and prove you've got what it takes to survive the endless road. Addictive gameplay. Pure arcade action. Simple to play, impossible to master.
more This update fixes a few crashes and bugs so RetroRacing feels smoother and more reliable.
The star of the show is still our big Game Center update: earn achievements for overtake streaks, lifetime totals, and trying every control style; chase your friends’ best scores with avatar markers during gameplay; see who you overtook after each run; and share clean snapshots of your results and unlocks.
Thanks for racing with us.

RetroRapid! is ready for the big weekend: the Miami Grand Prix!
This update is a pit stop: quick, focused, and back on track before the lights go out. We've fixed some bugs, plus a couple of other issues to keep the race running smoothly.
In 1.4: Achievements, friends on the track, and sharing your results.
Achievements are here! Earn Game Center achievements across three families: push your single-run overtake streak, build your lifetime total, and try every control method the game supports.
Race your friends. Game Center friends' best scores show up as avatar pin markers on upcoming cars during gameplay, so you always know who you’re about to beat.
Share your results. A Share button on the game-over screen and the achievements sheet lets you export a clean snapshot.

Achievements are here! Earn Game Center achievements across three families: push your single-run overtake streak, build your lifetime total, and try every control method the game supports: tap, swipe, keyboard, Digital Crown, game controller, and VoiceOver. New achievements appear in a dedicated sheet right after each run.
Race your friends. Game Center friends' best scores show up as avatar pin markers on upcoming cars during gameplay, so you always know who you're about to beat. The game-over screen now tells you which friends you just overtook, and which one is still ahead so you have a clear target for next time.
Share your results. A Share button on the game-over screen and the achievements sheet lets you export a clean snapshot. Great for celebrating a streak or a fresh unlock.

Fix: Resolves an issue that caused Direct Touch, for VoiceOver, to get disabled on some game pauses, like crashes.
The road gets a visual overhaul! Real perspective lane lines now replace the old grid, and a checkered strip appears before each speed increase so you know what's coming.
Game controllers are here! Connect any MFi, Xbox, or PlayStation controller and race with the D-pad or analog stick. You can also remap Move Left, Move Right, and Pause to any face or shoulder button from Settings → Controller.
Accessibility keeps improving: Audio Cues let you hear which lanes are safe on every move, with lane confirmation pulses, arpeggio, or chord styles to choose from. Speed increase warnings can now trigger a haptic or a sound, not just a VoiceOver announcement. A new Big Cars mode makes targets easier to see and tap. VoiceOver can also read the full grid layout whenever the game is paused.
Mac players: RetroRapid! is now available on macOS!
Apple Watch gets some of the same new features from iOS, plus general improvements.
