This app actually saved us while hiking in Mallorca after loosing track several times from Valdemossa to deia. It wasn't until I actually set it to "navigation" that we managed to find the way and get back down from the mountains :) Plus it's fun and you can find tracks around you with pictures and recommendations from other people. Very very useful 👍

I actively used the app from 2020 to 2023. However, I decided to delete my account due to repeated errors, such as incorrectly recorded routes. By doing so, I also lost my Pioneer and Expert badges. What felt most frustrating was that I couldn’t even access my GPX file archive ( ZIP/RAR) before deleting the account, which meant losing more than 260 recorded activities.Recently, I decided to return and try the app again. My impression is that the platform has been gradually losing active users year after year. Out of curiosity and nostalgia, I checked the profiles of people who were very active back in 2023, when I left. Unfortunately, I noticed that many of their accounts haven’t logged any new activities for one or even two years.Additionally, I tried posting a highlight, but it seems to remain visible only to me, and it does not appear anywhere on the map as I expected.Despite these issues, I’ve decided to keep my account this time and continue using the app, at least to record my cycling tours.

Very user friendly, has everything you would want from such an app, where you would want it. Definitely recommended for any outdoors enthusiast. Planning these trips creates a thirst for going out into the outdoors! 😉

My favorite biking app, the world map pack was one of my best purchases.Take the routes with a grain of salt tho, some really difficult hiking only trails are marked as easily accessible single track routes

By default they'll spam you with emails. Also the free app has pretty much nothing useful. For everything you'll need premium. I would be fine with that, but also being subscription based combined with the high price makes this app a clear "no-no" for me. There are better apps you could use and way cheaper so do yourself a favor and use those.

The app is generally quite bad at route planning, often sending you on unrideable roads if you plan for “road cycling”.Lately is has also become very limiting, now asking quite a lot of money to sell you OpenStreetMap maps, which is an open-source map they are using, not maintained by Komoot - a fact which is most likely illegal.
