Wasn’t that (singer + dancer) a brilliant collaboration?!?!
Just had to post it.

Affected Hearts (Appreciation Post)
In a world, no one can touch
You’ve drifted into mine
I into yours
And we’ve created a song of understanding
And Appreciation
We eventually leave
But the memory
Of which remains
Visit what we were
In those rich moments
Because I will
Never forget
What we shared
What you saw
What you let me see
How we made one another feel
In the exchange
Cuz it’s something.
It’s something friend.

Another Piece of Wonder (Composition)
Okay I know this blog is practically almost a composer appreciation blog now. I don’t mean it.
No seriously, just wanted to share and make a record for myself of this.
This composition is an event.
#LeSigh
I am going to work with these guys, later or sooner. I JUST started fleshing something out today, I thought they’d be perfect on (under certain scenes). I even envisioned how I’d start the story, their music playing.
This is gonna sound stupid, but sometimes I feel a collaboration with certain people is meant. Like a spiritual puzzle piece finding its way into the proper slot.
Two Steps From Hell sort of feel that way to me, I just imagined a collaboration much further off.
But today as I wrote, their music felt right. Then as I figured the timeline for the work (that’s if my new job goes well and I am making a decent paycheck), meaning when I’d like to shoot, I wondered how easy it would be to contact them. So I checked out their website.
EASY.
So I’m going to pitch them when I have the log lines (some of you voted on my latest so you know what that is now). And they might suggest I send them rough cut which I absolutely will, as I figure out what this is gonna cost. Of course.
Now the reason why the starting filmmaker has to do as powerful a work as she can.
So much can happen if you get it there, sometimes people work with you – if they’re moved.
Ah, I’m babbling.
Wanna see their site: http://www.twostepsfromhell.com/
Isn’t it so accessible like? I thought it would be really clinical and expensive looking and I’d click right out. Like …”NOPE ya can’t afford them.” Probably still can’t, but they were nice enough to have someone make a site that is encouraging.
Why We Need To Appreciate Our Own Aloneness
Brilliantly written post. And I agree with every word…
Archaic Sugar Motivational Quotes for July 6th
I’ve decided I’m going to start posting motivational quotes every month. They help me out in tough moments, reminding me what my values are and at other times give me an ideal to strive for. I’m sharing them with you because I know some of you have projects, business, or life stuff that requires continual refueling to complete too.
So Enjoy!
