What I’m Reading…
Right now I’m reading “Killing Eve” the pilot screenplay (here). This is how I prepare myself for the marathon that is writing a screenplay. I read, to start having fun. Then by the end, when the mood is high and I’m eager, I hit the ground running anxiety be damned. Read with me, if you like.

Break for Anime?
This is a great time for writing, for escaping it all. And I have escapes from my escapes.
Right now, I’m penning an anime series alongside a last rewrite of a live-action feature film. But it took foreeeeeeever to get started writing it, because I didn’t really know how to structure one. I wasn’t too sure what the needed elements might be… but… funny thing… I forgot I started as an animator. I went the flip book, animation focus in high school, major in college route, before falling in love with live action filmmaking and betraying animation (my first love lol).
So I do have some idea how to create dynamic scenes. And I’ve been working on storytelling for so long now – I hope I know how to tell a good one by now.
But you know what the most surprising thing is so far? It’s fun!
It’s not the primary genre I work in, so I feel like I have alot of room to play and mess up. Do whatever.
Let it be great, or not.

I love how LA (adians) lol – I dunno what to call em’ – came out to support him. I woulda gone too, but I’m in NY.
But the dad is pretty great (don’t you think)? Notice, he never got down or discouraged in his ideas.
But I’m thankful this filmmaker wandered in there too, this made my day to see.

1. I have 2 male roommates.
2. I want to study sculpture someday – in between films.
3. I am sometimes weirdly psychically connected to people (i.e. I could feel physical pains of the first love of my life…sometimes). This is just ONE example…
5. I have a relationship with the entity of Jesus Christ.
6. I was shot at once.
7. My first boyfriend prayed for all the qualities he then met in me (down to where I should have been raised, even though he wasn’t from there and we didn’t meet there).

1. What inspired you to start a public blog?
I wanted to share my creative works and inspirations somewhere.
2. Do you have any strange eating habits? If so, what are they?
I try to eat organic as much as possible, moving toward a Gluten Free diet. Not there yet, some days are better than others…
3. Would you rather have the power to change the past or see the future? Why?
The power to change the past. Passion without wisdom encounters a barrage of mistakes.ย And I made BIG ones… a few I wish I could undo!
4. What advice would you give your younger self? ย Leave NY.ย It’s hype.
Don’t dismiss Star.
Pray 100% more. Spend more time with the tried and true ones.
Change your major (to sculpture) for a year. Take the advice.
5. Whatโs the first word that comes into your head when you read the word โredโ?
The name of an ex of mine.
6. What song/piece of music resonates with you in this moment?

7. Are you a dreamer or a realist?
The realist is murdering the dreamer, but the dreamer is a fighter. She’s still alive, it’s a war…

NO. It depends on how you use it.

Spending time with people who inspire me or who I love. ย Watching movies. Enjoying the company of children. Listening to music. Dancing. Being affectionate with those I love and trust. Reading authors who I enjoy. Being around my extended families (not blood). Sharing about life with my parents (who are now friends).
11. What things in life bring you comfort? Prayer. Having my own space. Writing. Knowing people who genuinely care for me. Spending time with my parents. Exchanges about life with good friends. Having a way to make money. Having a grown up for a love – someone who allows me to contribute to him and who contributes to my life (not the throw aways). Working out. Experiencing nature. Leaving NY for any reason!!!
