Archero

Archero is a fun action game that turns you into a lone archer. Your mission? To defeat all the enemies you come across during your journey. Archero is a roguelike that’s inspired by great games like The Binding of Isaac and Nuclear Throne, but it offers a different experience each time you play.

It’s actually pretty easy to learn how to play Archero. Your character shoots automatically so all you have to worry about is dodging enemy attacks using the virtual joystick at the bottom of the screen. However, mastering the game is not quite as simple. The difficulty increases with each level you complete and the tricky thing is that you only have one life. If your health bar reaches zero, you’ll be forced to start over.

There are several chapters to complete in Archero, along with different special events. Each of these chapters is divided into 50 levels with grid-based layouts: after completing nine levels by defeating all the enemies on each screen, you'll face a challenging final boss. And as the cherry on top, there's a special boss when you reach the 50th screen.

One of Archero's trademarks is the customization of your hero: when you start playing you won't have any special skills, but you can choose one of three random skills when you level up by getting enough coins. There are tons of different skills and you’ll discover new ones as you progress from chapter to chapter. Although you lose these skills when you’re defeated, this Habby's game allows you to permanently improve other features, as well as equip your character with different items that you can also level up.

Each enemy in Archero has specific characteristics, as well as an attack pattern that you'll have to learn to avoid. The best way to keep improving is by simply playing Archero: your character keeps improving the more you play, as well as your knowledge of the different thugs that attack you.

Archero is an excellent all-around action game that’ll have you glued to your screen for hours on end. It has a perfect learning curve for all players and there are endless things to discover as you go along. And to top it all off, you get to play with different heroes and weapons that change the gameplay.
