Maddened Fowl links to a Fox News report that more and more people are buying firearms, as the public perception is either the President will win re-election, and push forward his anti-gun agenda, or Tweedle-dee/dum will win the election, and not be pro-gun, regardless.
I do find it interesting the photo Fox News chose was the AR-15 armed man at an anti-Obama rally.

OTOH, as a free citizen, I see two ways to interpret the news that Sturm, Ruger & Company has such a backlog of orders:
1. More citizens want to bear arms, either as part of their civic duty or (more likely) to protect themselves, their families and their property. YAY US! 😉
2. More citizens expect an increased push from the White House after the November elections to restrict firearm ownership, so they’re buying them now. BOO GUN-GRABBERS! 😛
