Our Thanksgiving started off with Chad's family for breakfast at Cracker Barrel. It's something that we do every year before we all head out for Thanksgiving. We take turns each year & this year it was our time at my parents home so we met up with Chad's side for breakfast & had so much fun chatting & spending time together.
Avery wasn't feeling very good. I took her to the doctor the day before because she was almost running a 103 temp. She was very sick with an ear infection so she wasn't up for a ton of pictures this weekend, you can tell in the below pic, she was screaming at 7:00 in the morning as we were leaving. My poor baby!

After breakfast we made a stop in Starbucks & then headed to my parents. LET THE ICE BEGIN! Yes, ice. It was 70 degree's the day prior & then all of a sudden ice. I kind of liked it although it felt more like Christmas morning than Thanksgiving.
We had a huge crowd at Mom & Dad's & I loved it! We all just sat around before lunch & chatted & curled up by the fire.

I captured some great pictures in my parents backyard of the weather. The ice was just beautiful on the fall tree's. My favorite is the reflection of the tree's on the glassy water after the ice. The sun was gleaming through & it was just beautiful. I actually turned these pictures into a local news station so hopefully they will share with the community! Can you say, "total nerd"! HA!

We had some amazingly delicious food & some wine. I didn't even get to capture all of the pictures because we "gobbled" it up so fast.

After lunch and naps, we sat by the fire downstairs to start our fun game of Catch Phrase. Let me tell you, it got a little heated- but SO much fun! I laughed until I couldn't breathe. That is what family time is all about!
Obviously the guys won, "TURKEYS"!

So Friday after Thanksgiving Avery wasn't well at all. Chad managed to get out & get our new HD TV, (yippee for black Friday), but I stayed in with Avery most of the day. She didn't even eat a thing on Friday. We tried everything. I did however manage to get her Christmas tree up. It was the last room in our house. I think it lifted her spirits she loved playing in her room & looking at the lights.
My favorite thing about her tree is her TUTU tree skirt. TOO stinkin' cute!

Saturday Avery was 100% better so Chad watched Avery for a bit so I could see my brothers new home & spend some time shopping with my Mom. I truly needed it after a few nights of no sleep. I was getting cabin fever.
Later that night we watched the HOG game on our TV. WE BEAT LSU, WHAWHOO! Afterwards we met up with the entire family again for some delicious pizza; all in our HOG attire, even Ave!

And Sunday was cleaning, organizing, final decorating day. I have had my entire Christmas up since the last week of October, but I haven't had a chance to get the outside complete. I wanted it simple & only my porch done this year so here it is! It turned out great. I added splashes of leopard too.
I will be posting a giveaway for a Christmas wreath
THIS WEEK, and will have some of my fun Christmas decor up to share.

Here is to a great week... I am hitting the gym EARLY to work off the massive amounts of food that I stuffed my face with this weekend!
