A look back in Twenty 10!

As I began to think about 2011 & all the great things I pray will happen this year, I was reminded of Twenty 10 & all the WONDERFUL joys God blessed us with! So I thought I would share... Enjoy!

January 2010 started off great! I decided it was time to get in shape & get my baby weight off so I got busy in the gym & spent most of my winter months working out & spending time with Avery & my friends. We enjoyed some snow & watching Avery grow every single day!

January was also very special because our good friends the Stafford's announced that they were having a baby boy. Something we longed & prayed for, for so long!

February was a fun month! I hosted a Valentine game night & all my fun girls came to play games & enjoy each other's company!

This was also the month that my sister in law Tiffany broke her hip, bless her heart! We made our way to Missouri to visit the grandmothers this month too! Avery was 8 months old in February & Chad turned 33!

March was green month! We of course celebrated St. Patty's Day, enjoyed my parents Birthdays, & enjoyed watching Avery grow at 9 months old!

April was a busy month! We had Melissa's baby shower, Avery's 1st Easter, & my 28th Birthday!

May was a special month for me. Avery got dedicated into our church on Mothers Day & it's a memory I will never forget! It was such a special moment for our entire family.

Our good friends had their baby, Grayson! Such a blessing & a moment I will also never forget. Ave was growing before our eyes learning to stand up & trying to take steps. She started eating with a spoon!

Oh June, a month I could not hardly wait for. My baby girl turned 1 years old!

Summer was just awesome! We enjoyed the pool everyday, playing at the park, celebrating 4th of July, it was my 10 year class reunion, and we enjoyed a nice famliy vacation with Chad's family!

September was another great month! We started off with Labor Day where I managed to sprain my ankle & break a toe. Avery started her 1st day of school, (MDO), & Razorback Football Season started!

Fall came fast but man did we have a blast going to Pumpkin patches with friends, enjoying the change of the leaves, & Halloween! We enjoyed our annual "girls fall weekend" too! Avery even had her 1st Dentist visit ever!

Fall was also a very hard time for my family because in October we lost my Uncle in an unexpected death. I had a hard month this month but really tried to keep my head up & move forward. We love you Uncle Jay & know you are with the good Lord...

November brought some fun days as we prepared for Christmas but also some sad ones as we lost our Papa Bill. He went to be with the Lord & we are so grateful that there was no more suffering.

We bundled up alot & kept so busy this month! My baby girl kept growing & growing & getting more beautiful.

Thanksgiving, and we have so much to the thankful for! Avery wasn't feeling the best this year but we still managed to have a great Holiday with both sides of our family!

December brought lots of parties, decorating, cooking, shopping, & fun!!! I decided to not post pictures on this one because I just did a few past blogs on this exact thing so if you want to take a few blogs back to look, go ahead! =)

As I reflected back on 2010 I just had to thank God for another healthy happy year with my family that is hopefully going to be growing in 2011. That is right, we are going to try to have another baby this year- God willing & I am stoked about this!!!! The Lord has been so good to me & I can't hardly wait to see what he may have in store this next year. But, you will have to wait & see when... I may have a few surprises up my sleeve!

Just as you read about my "seasons" of each month, there are also so many "seasons" we go through in our day to day lives whether it be with work, family, or friends. I have found myself to have a few challenging moments this year with a few deaths in my family amongst a few other things. I took it really hard when my Uncle passed as it was something I had never had to deal with on the level I did. Through the support of all my dear friends & family I was able to cope with it & move forward.

Through it all I have grown to learn who I am, what I want out of life, & what uncondional love is all about. It's all about looking forward to the best of the future! I truly want to seek happiness in so many areas of my life & want everyone to see my overwhelming love & desire for this life that we only have once to live. That is why I have vowed to myself to make it another great year.

"To look backward for a while is to refresh the eye, to restore it, and to render it more fit for its prime function of looking forward."

So, cheers to 2010!!!!

I want to wish you all a very Happy New Year as we ring in the New Year tonight. We have some big fun plans with all our friends & family! We can't wait!
