I know that lots of people are stressing out in “social isolation”. A friend called to ask how I was coping and I said fine. I spent over a year and a half in hospital by myself so I can accurately say that this will pass. No matter how isolated you feel now, heed my words – this will pass. Wooden boat (not Ark)

I will never get used to my acquired tinnitus. It is there from the moment I wake to the moment I sleep. How do I sleep with constant ringing in my ear? I dunno, I just do, I have learnt to live with it. Although this is not the exact tone or pitch and it starts and stops, welcome to a part of my world
