What does exceptional event management actually look like? A three-day international summit where the Convenors can *fully* participate - instead of managing logistics behind the scenes. Kymberlee Senior lived and breathed this Summit for months leading up to it, personally helping with Australian visa processes, juggling 110 speakers across a moving program and stakeholders in Australia and the UK. She's a machine with heart, I tell you! Thank you Branwen Morgan PhD for the generous words, it was a privilege to help deliver a summit on such an important topic.

I’m at the ANTIMICROBIAL RESISTANCE ~ AMR ~ SUMMIT #AMR2026 this week co-convened by CSIRO and the Fleming Initiative and we have kicked off in a really interesting way. Saying what we mean. Our first panel, led by Dame Sally Davies, included Australian leaders Jane Halton AO PSM FAICD Dr Michael Kidd and Chris Cannan covered a lot of ground, but the part that struck me was the focus on #language and #behaviourchange on the ground ⚡️Acronyms can be a barrier - we need to say the words ⚡️ When asking clinicians what AMR stands for it was not ubiquitously understood ⚡️So let’s be clear - AMR: “deadly infections that have no cure” If you didn’t know what #AMR is - now you do - and I encourage you to learn more.
