Our team building event – taking on space aliens and good food! The RNAte team recently took on a Virtual Reality (VR) battle with space aliens, followed by a meal at a local restaurant. A great way to celebrate our accomplishments and promote team bonding outside of operations. A valuable week of RNA technology, connections, and collaboration. Dr Esther Ling, PhD AAICD and A/Prof Michael Gantier represented RNAte at the 4th Advances in mRNA Science (AIMS) meeting in Melbourne, engaging in key discussions on the future of RNA therapeutics. A/Prof Gantier presented last year, and this year our collaborator Prof Gavin Painter took the stage, highlighting the strength of our Trans-Tasman collaboration in advancing RNA vaccines and therapeutics. Over the past year, we’ve grown the team and earned NATA accreditation for ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) standards, becoming the first facility in Australia accredited for the testing of RNA medicines It was great to meet with our community, seeing great science and discussions on how the mRNA therapeutic space is growing in Australasia. We look forward to the next meeting! Hudson Institute of Medical Research Te Kāuru — The Ferrier Research Institute #NATA #RNATechnology #mRNA #QualityInScience #ClinicalResearchExcellence
