Darren Younger reposted thisDarren Younger reposted thisAI governance is no longer a future problem, it’s a now problem. Today, WhiteHawk Inc (ASX: WHK) announced the acquisition of Quixxi from Lakeba. Having built Quixxi within Lakeba and watched the AI governance space evolve from inside WhiteHawk's board, I've seen first-hand why these two capabilities belong together when Quixxi launched its new solution Clarity AI. https://lnkd.in/g_VBchHa Quixxi was built within Lakeba’s venture ecosystem to solve a problem we saw coming: as AI becomes embedded across enterprise systems, organisations need visibility and control over where AI models operate and how they influence decisions. The EU AI Act is now in effect. Regulators globally are following. Boards are asking questions they couldn’t answer twelve months ago. Clarity AI was purpose-built for this moment, automated discovery of AI models, lifecycle governance, compliance monitoring and risk management across complex environments. The global AI governance market is projected to grow from ~US$309M to over US$4.8B by 2034. By bringing Clarity AI into WhiteHawk’s cybersecurity platform, we’re positioning the Company at the intersection of two converging categories: cybersecurity and AI risk management. This is also a validation of Lakeba’s venture catalyst model, Conceive, Create, Commercialise, and transition into the right platform for scale. Here the ASX announcement: https://lnkd.in/gQ9Kc8fx More to come. #AIGovernance #Cybersecurity #WhiteHawk #LakebaGroup #ClarityAI #ASX #ArtificialIntelligence

Darren Younger liked thisWe didn't just hire an Executive Chef. We brought in someone who fundamentally raises the ceiling of what The Pillars can be. Chris has the kind of pedigree that makes serious food people stop and pay attention — and the creative instinct to translate that into a dining experience that feels entirely alive. Every dish that comes out at The Pillars carries intention. Technique. A point of view. But here's what really sets him apart. He understands the room. He understands our members — founders, executives, investors, dealmakers — people who have eaten everywhere and remember everything. You cannot serve that audience average food in a beautiful room and expect it to land. Chris knows that. He raises his game to meet theirs. What he's building isn't just a menu. It's a culinary identity for a club that's writing its own rules about what private membership looks like in Sydney. That identity becomes reputation. Reputation becomes demand. Demand becomes growth. One year in, we're proud of a lot of things. Having Chris Lees in our kitchen is near the top of that list. If you haven't experienced what he's doing at The Pillars, — you should fix that. Canadian born and globally trained, Chris brings over two decades of experience across Michelin-starred restaurants and five star hotels, shaping a style that is both refined and innovative. Fresh from earning an SMH Good Food Guide Chef Hat at Printhie Wines, he now returns to Sydney to lead our kitchen, delivering elevated, produce-driven dining for our members. Darren Younger reacted on thisDarren Younger reacted on thisBig day for WhiteHawk Inc and Quixxi. Atturra (ASX: ATA), one of Australia's largest sovereign publicly listed advisory and IT services firms, has been appointed as the first Australian integration partner for Quixxi Clarity AI. Two ASX-listed companies. Aligned on the same view: AI governance has moved from emerging category to enterprise priority, and Australia needs a sovereign platform for it. For Quixxi, this is the first major execution of the channel-led commercialisation strategy we set out when WhiteHawk acquired Quixxi in April. For Atturra, Quixxi Clarity AI provides a sovereign Australian platform on which to scale their AI advisory practice. A reciprocal partnership. Commercially aligned on the same outcome. The Australian AI governance market just took a meaningful step forward. #AIGovernance #ASX #Quixxi #ClarityAI #Atturra #WhiteHawk ASX release in the first comment 👇🏼

Melbourne-based AI startup NexusMD.ai has secured A$6.3 million in seed funding. NexusMD provides enterprise-grade AI agents that integrate directly with existing hospital systems to automate end-to-end workflows. By ingesting clinical content and medical information from sources like ambient listening and image-based text, the agents compile structured clinical notes and generate accurate coding, streamlining documentation and improving operational efficiency. Australian venture capital firm Square Peg led the seed funding. With the new backing, the company is now scaling its technology across more hospitals and expanding its suite of AI agents beyond the emergency department into other critical hospital units. Congratulations to the NexusMD team. Well said Leigh Jasper. This echoes a common sentiment in Silicon Valley: • Network effects • Proprietary data assets • Deep industry-specific workflows • Regulatory and risk-compliance barriers tapestry® delivers all four: • Marketplace economics • Real-time commerce data (including compliance data) • AI workflows (HANK) • POS distribution and compliance reporting 4/4. Digital Mining Solutions • 8K followers
ASIC Miners Are Becoming Dynamic Energy Assets One of the most important hardware trends we’re seeing right now is the move toward wider operating modes. ASICs are no longer built for a single fixed output. They are being designed for flexibility. Modern miners can now shift between low-power, efficiency-optimized modes and high-power, high-hashrate modes in real time. That means power is no longer just a cost input, it’s a variable that can be actively managed. This matters because miners are increasingly operating inside real energy markets: 🔸 Participating in demand-response and curtailment programs 🔸 Reacting to spot power prices 🔸 Optimizing around grid constraints and renewable variability Instead of turning machines fully on or off, operators can now throttle fleets up or down, staying online while adapting to grid and pricing conditions. An important side effect of this shift is that it reduces the need for custom firmware, which historically required third-party development fees, added operational risk, and often voided manufacturer warranties. Native, OEM-supported power modes now deliver much of that flexibility out of the box, without compromising support or hardware coverage. Auradine’s Teraflux™ systems are a good example. Across air-cooled, immersion, and hydro-cooled models, they offer broad hashrate and power ranges, allowing a single fleet to support multiple operating strategies from ultra-efficient base load to high-output peak mining. The future of mining belongs to operators who can turn ASICs into grid-aware, energy-optimized infrastructure assets, not just fixed-speed machines.

TECHNOLOGY INVESTMENT REPORT 2025 | prepared by Technology Investment Network The "Technology Investment Report 2025", published by the Technology Investment Network with support from NZGCP and the Auckland Council Economic Development Office, is designed to map the evolving dynamics of #NewZealand’s #technologyinvestmentecosystem. Its mission is to provide #policymakers, #investors, and #entrepreneurs with a quantitative and strategic overview of the sector’s performance, highlighting its role in national #productivity, #capitalefficiency, and long-term competitiveness within the #globaleconomy. The report documents record-breaking inflows of NZD 1.3 billion in early-stage and growth capital during 2024, a 17% increase from the prior year, with #software, #deeptech, and #healthtechnology accounting for over 60% of total funding. Venture-backed firms reported median revenue growth of 22%, while export-oriented companies achieved a capital efficiency ratio of 1.8x, signaling strong international market penetration. Notably, firms with diversified governance structures exhibited a resilience index 14% higher than peers, underscoring the link between institutional quality and financial durability. The analysis emphasizes the financial implications of scaling within New Zealand’s innovation economy. Early-stage investments generated an average #ROI of 14% and a five-year #ROE trajectory of 11.2%, while late-stage ventures displayed higher risk–reward asymmetry with volatility-adjusted returns at 1.3x benchmark levels. The report highlights efficiency gains in capital deployment, with investment-to-output conversion improving by 9% year-over-year, alongside reduced systemic fragility due to deeper investor syndication and cross-border participation. Collectively, these indicators point toward an innovation system that is not only expanding but also maturing in its governance and financial architecture. In conclusion, the "Technology Investment Report 2025" frames New Zealand’s technology sector as a high-performing and increasingly resilient component of the global innovation economy. Its trajectory of strong ROI, improving ROE, and expanding international reach suggests that the sector has entered a phase where scale and sustainability can coexist. The report offers both investors and policymakers a data-driven foundation for decision-making, underscoring the strategic imperative to reinforce capital flows into technology ventures as a driver of long-term #economicgrowth and resilience.
