Been super duper happy for the past two days despite all the datelines and lack of sleep.. All because my lappie has finally arrived ^_^  Finally, my very own new, light laptop. Super duper happy..

Inspiron 13Z

Everything is good so far and living up to expectations. I especially love the tomato red cover. Something different from the conventional black. For a home computer, it’s definitely a worthwhile package which is value for money and light in weight.

Inspiron 13Z

Although it saddens me to let my faithful Inspiron 6000 ‘retire’, I’m still glad that finally I got a new laptop that’s much more lighter. [Approximately 1.92kg] Definitely makes carrying it around easier and lesser chances of sporting a backache. Although the smooth finishes make it more finger print prone, I still love it all the same..

It’s been almost three months since my last post.

I’ve got so much to say. But not enough time to sit down and really write what I want to say and show in my pictures.. In a nutshell it’s been a busy busy one month since before my graduation up till now. So much has happened and I’ve crossed paths with so many new friends. Some of which are real treasures to be cherished always.

Need to work on my time management a little bit more I suppose. So till I get things sorted out better, here’s one for the wait.

Thanks to the photographer and Moon's camera for the picture. ^_^

Klang Bak Kut Teh

Went down to Klang with my mom and a friend to settle some things. So while we were there, we decided to go try the famous Klang ‘Bak Kut Teh’. However, we were faced with the slight problem of not knowing which one to try. So after a phone call to a local friend, we made our way to a certain ‘kopitiam’ located some where further away from town.

Klang Claypot Bak Kut Teh - there's mixed meat, ribs and quails eggs

It was about 11 plus in the morning when we reached the ‘kopitiam’. According to the shop owner, the portion served to us was practically the last serving for 3 left in his pot. If we had come any later, then it would have been just to bad and we would have to go back on an empty stomach.

Despite having only the ‘Bak Kut Teh’ and white rice for brunch, it was very satisfying. Best part was of course the soup which was thick and tasty. Yummy Yummy!!

Sunday’s are normally ‘Eat-Out’ days for my family. Especially for dinner. So yesterday, we decided to do some gallivanting around the Taman Kuchai Jaya area – just off Jalan Kuchai Lama. The area is practically a foodie haven as there’s just about anything available to try there. From Western food to noodles, seafood etc.

Since we weren’t really sure what to go with, we decided to pick a shop that has a considerable amount of patrons eating inside. So after one round, we decided to give this shop called ‘Hot Pot Bone Essence’  a try. It was located right at the end of the road so we nearly missed it too at first.

Signature Pork Broth - with our added selection of vegetables and meat.

So anyway, as we first stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted by the aromatic smell of soup. It was simply delightful. And as we were making our way to a table further back in the shop, I took a quick glance around the tables to see what were the common favourites of the other patrons. We were then given a menu – similar to Old Town Kopitiam Style – to pick, select and mark and select from.

Fresh pork slices - absolutely delicious and the best for me.

There’s a whole lot of things to choose from. So playing it safe, we decided to just try i serving of each of the signature dishes – assuming that you can’t go wrong since it’s supposed to be highly recommended. And of course, we picked the signature Pork Bone Broth for our soup.

Here’s a glimpse of some of the dishes we ordered. ^_^

#1 Highlight of the night - 'Fresh Pork slices' rolled artfully on a plate.

#2 Highlight of the night - 'Homemade Pork Ball' which was absolutely well done and when boiled to perfection over a slow flame in the soup makes you keep wanting more.

Pork Roll Needle Mushroom - Needle Mushroom rolled up with smaller cuts of fresh pork slices.

Carrot Juce & Orange Juice

Awesome dinner pallette

The price at this place is pretty reasonable too. On average, it only cost about RM20.00 per-person for such a fulfilling dinner – excluding drinks. So for those of you looking for a reasonable, comfortable and serves extra yummy fresh slices of pork steamboat place, do go and check out this place. The soup is simply awesome and I’m sure you would all agree that the soup is the most important ingredient of all when eating steamboat. The address is as follows.
