GOVERNOR OTU CONGRATULATES SENATOR ODEY’S AWARD FOR EXCELLENT & PROACTIVE  COMMISSIONER IN NIGERIA

Cross River State Commissioner for Education, Senator (Associate Prof) Stephen Odey, yesterday presented his award for Proactive and Excellent Reporting Commissioner in Nigeria, conferred on him by the National Council on Education, to Governor Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu. The Governor, impressed by the achievement, encouraged Senator Odey to continue his exemplary work in the education sector.

Recall that the award was jointly presented by Professor Tahir Mamman, OON, SAN, former Honourable Minister of Education, and Dr. Nasir Sani-Gwarzo, Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education, at the 68th National Council on Education meeting on October 10, 2024, at Abuja, FCT, the award was accompanied by an iPad prize.

C’RIVER COMMISSIONER FOR EDUCATION BAGS THE AWARD OF PROACTIVE AND EXCELLENT REPORTING COMMISSIONER IN NIGERIA

The Honourable Minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman, OON, SAN, and Dr. Nasir Sani-Gwarzo, Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education, jointly presented the award of Proactive and Excellent Reporting Commissioner in Nigeria to Senator (Associate Prof) Stephen Odey, Cross River State Commissioner for Education with an iPad as the award prize during the 68th National Council on Education meeting held yesterday (October 10, 2024) at the NAF Conference Hall, Kado, Abuja, FCT.

The National Council on Education (NCE), is the highest policy making body on education in Nigeria. Notable attendees included Hon. Yusuf T. Sununu, Minister of State, Education, Senator Lawal Adamu Usman, Senate Committee Chairman on Education, former Permanent Secretaries and other esteemed Government Functionaries. Congratulations, Distinguished Commissioner Sir.

SENATOR ODEY RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS BEST COMMISSIONER IN NIGERIA AWARD FOR 2024

Cross River State Commissioner for Education, Senator (Associate Prof) Stephen Odey, was honoured yesterday October 9, 2024 with the esteemed Leadership Best Commissioner Award in Nigeria.

The decoration ceremony took place at the Merit House, Maitama Abuja, attracting prominent Nigerian leaders and industry captains.

Organized by People’s Parliament Nigeria in conjunction with Leadership Award Ltd, this National Leadership Award recognizes exceptional contributions.

Associate Professor Stephen Odey expressed gratitude to the organizers while dedicating the award to His Excellency, Governor Bassey Otu, noting that the award is motivation for him to further transform Cross River State’s education sector aligning with the Governor’s visionary leadership.
