Senator (Associate Prof) Stephen Odey, Cross River State Commissioner for Education, is participating in the ongoing Universal Basic Education Commission’s management meeting, a 3-day event with other Commissioners for Education in Nigeria and all the Executive Chairmen of State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB). The event, being held at the UBEC digital resource centre Abuja, has the theme: ‘Strengthening Partnership for Quality Delivery of Basic Education in Nigeria.’

The meeting, which will conclude today, Wednesday, February 26, 2025, is critical as it will afford stakeholders the opportunity to familiarize and chart ways forward in the effective delivery of Basic Education in Nigeria. The Executive Secretary, Universal Basic Education Commission, Dr. Aisha Garba, and other critical stakeholders are actively participating.
