Some YEARS AGO an epiphany” smacked me in the middle of my OCCIPITAL. I’d grown living with my GRAND-PARENTS, growing vegetables, and harvesting Pears, Apples, and Cherries. During the last couple years my GRAND-MOTHER CANNED enough PEARS, (BARTLETTS), that it took FIVE years for “18” of US to EAT them all!
The property was purchased in 1926, on the “outskirts” of the town, ( Worthington, Ohio), starting with, about 12 acres, ( reduced to an Acre, and a TWELFTH in 19?? when the City “incorporated”= tax-based the grounds.). With, about 3/8 of this GRAND-FATHER raised CORN, COLLARD GREENS, OKRA, BEANS, SPINACH, and TOMATOES (!!!), and other, various “TASTY- WHIMS” for… When in Elementary School, THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL HE, not ONLY FED the FAMILY, ( I weighed 126 lbs. in the SECOND GRADE!?!) , BUT, SUPPLIED the Town GROCERY STORE, (WORTHINGTON HOME MARKET/ Bachelor family owned.), with the like.
Seeing the ‘evolutions’ of the weather patterns that GRAND-FATHER taught, through “THE FARMER’S ALMANAC” I’ve been HELD by MANY observances, ( Like watching the first “CHEM-TRAILS” started by the “SERVICES” of NORAD.), that HAVE led to THIS “GIFT’S” “HOPE”/ INSIRATION….
