Yesterday’s post at Inch High Guy was a review of the Squadron/Signal book Flying Colors. Much of the ensuing discussion was about the nostalgia of older reference books. I keep a set of the Thorpe IJAAF/IJNAF books around for the same reason.
My 3 year old granddaughter is tall enough now to reach the bottom shelf of a built in bookcase in the hallway that contains the overflow books that won’t fit in the bookcases in the man hovel. When she’s over she likes grabbing several books to “read” to us. I just happened to take these pics a couple of weeks ago:
