I’ll keep this short and sweet…
I am a baker, runner, and yogi who’s day-jobbing as a financial analyst. Still experiencing my quarter-life crisis (even though I’m almost two years past the quarter-life mark), trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up, searching for my New Cheese…whatever you want to call it, I am hoping to document my journey through baking. And if I’m able to inspire another home baker, like so many others have inspired me, or maybe even make people smile while reading this, then my journey will be that much sweeter.

I just stumbled upon your blog today while searching for a stout cupcake recipe, and I love it! I read the whole thing and all the archives while sitting on a full days worth of conference calls.
I am a public relations manager in St. Louis by day, dedicated baked in the off-hours. Your blog has been bookmarked and has totally inspired me to endeavor into homemade cannolis – I’m so excited! I will visit often : )
Happy Baking!

Hi Niky! Welcome and thanks for the kind words. Making homemade cannoli is really much easier than it seems. Good luck!

Hi Allison,
So a little bird just forwarded your website to me. Wow!!
I’m fortunate enough to have tried many of your sweet tastings from your samples at work (much more fun than budget LEs, to be honest).
As I’ve said to you before, you have so much talent. Now I see from this website that there’s “plenty more where that came from”!
Thanks so much and see you at the office.
