First of all, thank you for interrupting your busy schedule to take a look at our blog. We're the Whites and we live in the thriving metropolis of Provo, UT. Right now I am supposed to be writing the two remaining papers I need to write in order to graduate from Brigham University, but pretty much any activity is taking precedence, from writing in this blog to scrubbing the toilet. But I promise, I will get them done. I will take this time to tell some little known facts about the Whites. It may come out a little abrupt and jumbled, but please be patient, we are brand new to the blogging world. The best thing about us currently is Jane, as you can see from the vast disproportion of pictures of Jane versus pictures of us. Barb is beautiful and great, but you all knew that. Barb recently won the Miss America Beauty Pageant and put in a good word for me while having lunch at the White House, so they'll probably be calling me soon. She is swimming and rollerblading a lot lately (Jane goes with her). We paid for a gym membership last year and went like 3 times so we are going a lot in our last 2 months to make up for it. We are applying to some graduate schools and hope to move to San Francisco in January. We'll see what happens though. We've discovered that we love Paswharri Naan and Malai Kofka and other assortments of Indian food even though we don't know how to spell them. We are feeling all grown up and responsible ever since our recent purchase of a filing cabinet. Before we were married we didn't even have anything to put in such a piece of furniture and now we have enough to fill one up. Growing up is quite a trip. The weather in Provo is perfect and we are spending a lot of time outdoors. We've gone up to my parent's cabin on the Weber many weekends and have had a great time riding horses and taking advantage of their hospitality. It's also pretty fun hanging out with the white family cowboys, Geoff and Jenk. I feel 37% tougher just because I know them. I am playing tennis every other day and am getting progressively worse. I am excited to get my design company off the ground even though it is progressing very slowly. You can check out the progress at http://www.facestudio.net. Jane is getting ever more smiley and loves talking to us with gurgly snorts which we reply to with great enthusiasm. She is sleeping through the night and is overall the world's best baby. I will pause here and offer a congratulations to anyone who is still reading. This must mean you like us very much or are insanely bored. Be rest assured we like you very much and would like to hear back from you so take a second and post a reply (it's the blogging way). In tribute to the new pirates movie, I will end this post with some pirate jokes:
Why didn't the pirate see the movie?
(it was rated aaarrgh!)
How much does it cost to pierce a pirate's ear?
(a buccaneer) (and for you slow people: buck-an-ear)
Did you hear about the pirate who got fired?
(he was disbaaaurrghed)
Those are terrible. Feel free to ridicule them. Until next time!
Barb and Brig
